Adoptable Terms of Service
When you offer on one of my adoptables you are agreeing to follow these terms.
Breaking any of these rules will result in immediate and definitive ban from all of my species,
your right to buy or own any of my designs will be revoked and the
validity of your ownership will be studied on a case-by-case basis.
Blacklist
- The people on this list have broken my terms of adoption or service and don't have a right to own one of my designs.
- Please do not gift, trade, swap or sell any designs of mine to anyone on this list.
- Blacklist is currently empty.
Eligibility for Adoption
- In order to adopt a character, buyers' accounts must be at least 6 months old (with proof) and they must have no previous history of bad behavior.
- People who back out of claims, offer irresponsibly or show inconsistensy or tardiness in their payments might be denied the right to adopt.
- I have the right to deny anyone service at my discretion.
Credits
- HANIICU retains creator rights regardless of ownership changes.
- Please credit me as creator of the design at least the first time you post it anywhere.
- In the case of closed species characters, creator rights must go to HANIICU even if the character is a MYO or a guest design.
- For MYOs, you can list yourself as the designer.

Payments
- Please don't send any payments before I confirm your claim or accept your offer.
- Real currency payments will be made in U.S Dollars through Paypal invoice or Paypal.me link.
- DA Point payments will be made through a commission widget. Don't send points as a gift unless told otherwise.
- Payments are expected within the next 24 hours after the claim or the character will open up again.
- Buy backs can be considered but are not guaranteed.
- All sales are final. No refunds will be offered.
Changes & Edits
- You're allowed to make changes and edits to the character after your purchase as long as the design is still recognizable.
- You're allowed to edit the original art to reflect the changes you've made but please ask me first.
- You may change/assign the character's sex, gender, name, age, etc.
- You're allowed to change the character's original outfit as much as you want to fit your preferences and/or make new outfits entirely.
Character Use
- My adoptables are exclusively for personal use only unless it was otherwise stated in the sales post.
- Commercial use can be granted upon request but it will affect the character's price. Please note me to discuss it.
- You may not claim the original design as your own.
- You may not trace or copy the original artwork or claim it as your own.
- You may upload the original artwork to art and social media platforms with proper credit and preferably, not in high resolution.
- You may not sell or commercialize the original artwork made by me.
Character Transfers
- You may trade, gift or swap characters at your own discretion.
- Bought characters can be resold for the same price you bought them for or less.
- When characters of a closed species are transferred, the masterlist must be notified.
- All characters have a 1-month cooldown period before they can be transferred to someone else.
