Art Commissions - Terms of Service

Please contact me prior to placing an order if you have any questions about the TOS.

Payment
My prices are non-negotiable.
All payments must be made in full via Paypal in the correct currency.
I do not do payment plans, sorry!
You can must pay immediately upon my agreeing to your commission. I will not start until payment has been recieved.
I reserve the right to add additional fees to your commission's total price if it includes very complex design elements or props. Ask if you're not sure if a design counts as complex!
Tips are appreciated, but not necessary!

Corrections and adjustments
I can make one or two major corrections (posing etc) per commission, but only during the sketching process. Once lining has begun I can only make minor adjustments.
If you spot a problem in the finished piece I will make minor adjustments (fixing colour tones or small details) once. After that I may charge.
Exceptions may be made where something needs adjusting because of my own mistakes.

Cancelling commissions, refunds
If you need to cancel a commission before you've paid and before I start drawing, you may.
I do not issue refunds unless I am the one to cancel a commission.

Expected delivery
I don't have a set schedule I work by, and certain commissions may take longer than others due to complexity or difficulty, because of other commissions ahead of yours in the queue, or because I have real life responsibilities to deal with.
I ideally intend to finish most commissions within 2-4 weeks. You may ask for updates on yours at any time!
If you need a piece done before a certain deadline make sure to mention it when discussing your commission. I cannot guarantee a piece will be finished in a particular timeframe if it is not agreed upon.

Usage & Ownership Rights
I offer commissions for personal and private use only. The client is prohibited from selling on the work (except in the case of character trades), or anything implied as representing the work in any way, such as by a non-fungible token (NFT). It may not be referenced by new contracts, including on distributed applications, without approval of me.
Commissioned art may not be used in AI datasets or prompts without explicit permission from me (the artist). Please discuss this with me if it is something you intend to do.
Art may be shared wherever the commissioner wishes (so long as it is non-commercial), but I retain the right to authorship credit.
I may use commissioned pieces in my art portfolio or post them on my social media accounts (with credit), however if you are unhappy with this let me know and I will remove and/or refrain from sharing your commissioned piece.
Violation of my usage policy will result in the filing of DMCA takedown report(s).

Refusal of service
I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason including harassment, discomfort with the requested commission, because I believe one of my other policies will be violated, or for personal reasons.
