My Paypal account is officially closed.
I probably should've mentioned this sooner, but I'd been locked out of my account since February, but thankfully it hadn't come up. Unfortunately, I did something kind of not smart to get it back yesterday, and that blew up in my face, so Paypal just completely shut down my account. Paypal, being the kind of site it is, doesn't offer any ways to reopen it. Really wish I would've spent those $20-something, but it's not too bad a loss. Anyway, because I have no way of receiving money, I don't know when I'll be able to start up commissions again.
Wow, that's terrible...I always knew Paypal was bad at handling customer relations but they literally...took your money with them? I'm sorry that this happened, and I hope you can find an alternative platform that respects its users better. If/when you do I'd be happy to commission you again!

Right now I'm looking into alternatives, but it's looking like there's not many sites that'll let me activate an account without being connected to my bank account or a credit card. I might just get another Paypal account, or wait until I'm in a place where I can access my bank account/credit card more easily. Thanks for the suggestions! I tried stripe already, but I'll look into square.
