tbh it's kinda dumb bcs i created it when I was like 15 and I have never updated it to include all these new mobs and stuff like holy shit I Am Behind, but the basic gist was that all these humanized mobs where human-adjacent races that lived in peace with each other in some faraway land yadda yadda. this included villagers, but didn't include either type of zombies or all the regular animals.
then this man from across the sea washed up on their shores its Herobrine who introduced himself as a "player". Life went on for everyone despite this new weird ass dude wandering around, and when he one day disappeared they figured he had returned to where he came from.
THAT APPEARED TO BE INCORRECT WHEN MORE PLAYERS CAME TO THEIR LAND LOOKING FOR HIM. These were all less peaceful than the original man had been, and it eventually evolved into a war that went on for so long that the majority of them forgot what they were fighting for, to the point of turning on the other races they previously lived so peacefully with. A war that only ended when there weren't enough people left to fight.
Now all of them live in separate tribes and towns across the lands, with the occasional player wandering around. But a smidge of its former greatness.
haha idek if that made any sense tbh it's been yeeeaaaars 8'DD like i said; kinda dumb, should def overhaul stuff if I went back to it, and obv consider All The New Stuff 8'DD
ah man that's really fun though!! 83c And way more developed than my gijinka thing, which... at the moment has literally no plot or purpose other than "uh, these gijinkas I drew look kinda like they all belong to the same world... so I guess they do?" woops. I'd love to hear any updates if you ever do more with that setting, it genuinely sounds like a really fun backdrop for creating individual stories with.
I do have an unnecessarily complicated headcanon... worldbuild... thing for regular non-gijinka minecraft though, so I've been wondering if I should... merge the two? somehow? Like for whatever reason some specific mobs can appear humanoid and have the intelligence to converse like people etc etc. The two pigmen and the testificate among my TH characters are from that setting, as well as theoretically my avatar/skin I use to play actual Minecraft, ppfft.
