I love robots so much! Makes me sad when people shout that robots are gonna kill us all, just because Boston Dynamics made a bot that could open and close doors. :(
I am both excited and afraid of the day that robots become commonly sentient. Not because I don't want it, but because of how people will treat them. Humans still treat different-looking people pretty badly. I know robots won't be too different. I'm also sort of afraid of the extreme opposite too... but that's a whole other can of worms.
I don't know about making my own AI, but raising and teaching one sounds fun and interesting!

no but seriously i hope robots get to a point where they are sentient.

Yeah...
I know this has nothing to do with robots but hear me out.
Aliens most defiently exist but i’m pretty sure they just dont wanna deal with us if we as humans are even that interresting to them.
Like we are still having wars between usself so why wouldn’t we wanna kill aliens.
I wonder if we as humans will ever learn to accept each other no matter differences.
I hope so but i doubt it.

Humans tend to be instinctively afraid of things different from them. Some can overcome them some can't. It's hard to say
