I personally love fanfiction and was wondering if anyone else did? What fandoms do you read? Favorite ships? I wanna see what other fanfiction writers and readers are doing! If you write fanfiction, feel free to post it as well!

I read and write all sorts of fanfiction!

I write and read fanfics semi-often: usually I write crack or kidfics (not with the main characters having kids, usually characters as kids) or maybe just a good ship, crossover, or fluff. I tend to read fics with favorite characters.

Also, almost the whole Moomins fandom on AO3 ships Moomin x Snufkin.

And I love it.

I love fanfic and read it quite a lot! Usually for video games or Vocaloid, but I still read fic for a few TV shows as well. I usually read one shots for the most part because my attention span is short. I write it too sometimes, but only for Vocaloid.

Only in the Wander Over Yonder fandom.  There's a lot of things I like, but it's rare for me to like something in a way where I can care about other people's stories for it, and rarer still that I'm also inspired to make my own for the same fandom.

Fanfictions just aren't for me imo. I just feel more comfortable with original fics.

I read a lot of short anime fanfics in my teenage years, and a few more infamous Harry Potter ones. And My Immortal. I think the last fic I read was a really good Megamind one that was, alas, not finished. I'm actually still quite fascinated by some fanfics, but they're on such niche subjects that it's hard to find anything good on them. Stuff like good HP fics showing the world through the POV of The Dursleys, Aunt Marge or other muggles.

I've also written some fix-fics back in the day. There was one V for Vendetta fanfic I made in which V survived, aided by a hypothetical side-character who'd taken care of him after the fire that'd given him his scars. There was also a Vampire Hunter D fanfic I made in which Meyer Link survived and went to look for a way to bring his lover back to life after his spaceship fell off the orbit . Heh, I just remembered. When I first read Harry Potter I was around 9-10 years old. And I re-drew it. The whole Philosophers Stone, one scene per page in a notebook. Except it took place in The Stone Age, with Flintstone-ian technology. I guess that counts as an AU fic, it was just so specific that I couldn't help but bring it up.

I do I have been in numerous fandoms and most I have read from them as well as written. I write/wrote more fanfics than drew fanart. A lot has been deleted since 2006 when I was 16. Currently dabbling in FF XV. Hardest thing is finding a good author or fic and it hasn't been updated, though I do that as well.

I’m mostly the person writing the fanfics, not reading them lmao. I’ve found some really good ones, but in my experience you have to look really well to find good ones.

Sometimes. It depends on what it is. Blue Sky and Toon Henry are some good ones if you are in the Portal or BATIM fandoms
