They're maybe a little old now, but I have a short story collection on tapas!! It's a collection of 5 short stories revolving around male characters with strange things happening around them, whether it's their own doing or forces beyond their control

I've been working on this for a while now. I did complete it once but then, I was like "eh, rewrite the whole thing cos the plot is screwed."

Here's some worldbuilding/ lore for my world, Sona Somnium, which I ended up liking more than I expected:

Contrary to popular belief, a 'Life' can be lost multiple times. Before knowing how, one must first ask: "what makes up a 'Life'?" The answer to that is 'the Heart'. Some people call it 'the Soul' while others call it 'the Spirit', but in the end, it all means the same thing. Every time a Life ends—that is to say, every time one 'loses Heart'—a new Life begins, as is the will of the Mother of Somnium.

Somnium is a fractal world with no beginning or end and no concept of time of reason. It's a world that transcends that of humanity and their comprehension of the world as they know it. It is a place where beings similar to that of gods dwell, and it is a place that no mortal should be able to step foot in unless the gods will it. It is a world that resides fairly close beside the world of dreams, but it would be incorrect to call it a dreamscape.

In that world, the Mother takes the Heart that was lost and reshapes it, breathing Life into it once more so that it may start anew in Somnium as a Dream Dweller. Dream Dwellers are winged beings who possess the capabilities of traversing through various worlds to act as a Being's Eyes.

A Being is what it is—a being with no shape or form but possessing the powers and traits similar to that of humanity's concept of a god. Beings are remnants born from the Mother's tears. In Somnium, Beings are stuck in that neverending place, and so, they appoint Dream Dwellers (and sometimes humans, if they catch Their interest) to act as Their Eyes.

As a Being's Eyes, the Being is able to watch over and observe the countless worlds and universes through Their respective Eyes' personal experiences, hoping to sate their boredom.

Despite the power They possess, the Mother has appointed three rules. No Being cannot touch nor intervene with the following:

The threads of Fate woven by the Seamstress
The rain of Blessings wept by the Oracle
The songs of Deliverance sung by the Martyr

In other words:
Beings cannot take the life of an inhabitant of a world/ universe until their "fated day" nor interfere with their predetermined fate.
Beings cannot curse or bring misfortune to an inhabitant of a world/ universe that was "chosen" by the Oracle.
Beings cannot prolong nor cut short the pain and suffering of an inhabitant of a world/ universe until the Martyr decides to "save" them.

I’m working on writing a book! I got irritated with the lack of LGBTQ+ representation in fantasy, so I decided that it was my turn to create content. Right now, I have 12 chapters written out, totaling about 40k words. It will be a full-length, 100k-word novel, so she’s Long. It’s published here on TH!

Link to the book.

And the spoiler, if you want it:

Two kingdoms, Celesmere and the Akronadien Empire, have been locked in a brutal war for twenty years. When Mara, the Heiress to the Akron throne, and Faustina, the princess of Celesmere, meet by chance in neutral territory, can they overcome what they’ve been taught and end the war?
