So, I’m a mod of a really cool semi-closed species group that came here from DA after the Deviantart Eclipse update became permanent. Toyhouse is still pretty unfamiliar territory for me; I’ve been here for at least two years, but never ventured through forums or joined worlds until recently.
I know a lot of people run closed/semi-open/open species here, and I was sort of wondering if anyone has tips to help the groups get exposure and expand :0
I’m not the creator of the species, so obviously, I can’t do anything big like launching MYO events to gain some traction. I’ve written some small ads in forums, as well as responding to forums in-character, but that’s about all I’ve done so far.Â
Getting exposure has always been a bit difficult, which is a shame since I feel like a lot of people might like this group! Everyone in the group is so nice and welcoming, the Discord server is pretty active despite the small community, and the lore of the species is very enjoyable and interesting. If anyone can offer tips that could help us thrive on this site, it would really mean a lot! :]
