What is this?
Exactly what it says on the tin! I keep 'forgetting to' (see: putting off) updating my world's TH world / wiki page, so I figured I'd make a public thread as a changelog + general summary hub. Because if I'm being perceived hopefully I'll make progress, right?
What is Pokeau?
Pokeau is an AU of the mainseries gameverse Pokemon world! Which is to say the spin-off games and anime/manga aren't applied here. It's been my active headworld and creative outlet since 2015! It's a solo development project so I work on it myself, though there are character designs by other people included.
Though it's less of an alternate universe and more of a universe alteration, if that makes sense. Most key characters, settings, and story points remain, but it's the way they play out or are portrayed that differs. As I like to to explain it, the Pokemon lore is like a sandbox in a playground and I am an unsupervised toddler.

How is Pokeau expressed?
Mostly through writing! Hope you like reading because my bios get... long. There's generally three 'main' forms of writing Pokeau is shown through
- Character wiki/bio pages - I literally just dump their entire character story arc onto their page. I think the longest is like 12k works holy moly.
- Oneshots - Normally these wouldn't count but I write too many of them. Slices of mundane life in between major arcs.
- Novelizations - Aka the Long Stuff. Currently I have one finished project and one ongoing one! These are longform prose (is that what they're called) of the full story of a story arc as opposed to the abridged version present in bios.
But wait there's more! It's not all just words (though it mostly is)! I've also collected a metric crapton of art over the years and while most of it has absolutely nothing to do with story, some of it does? Either way I like looking at it all. Also there's several MMD compilations that exist but we don't talk about those.

I generally am pretty closed off to suggestions because Pokeau is and always has been a project for my own personal enjoyment, however, when it comes to the world and what lore/worldbuilding to write down I've kinda been floundering aimlessly so any direction would be appreciated! Like, it's all in my head I just don't know what to actually write.
