Featured Character Discord (A fun art game!!)

Featured Character is a game where someone's original character is featured every 48 hours. Everyone will have the chance to create art of this character and be entered into a randomized raffle to have their own character potentially featured for the next round!

Our server currently has over 1,000 members, so this community isn't too big, nor too small! It's just the perfect size to keep the game engaging while keeping the chance of winning still perfectly achievable. (Additionally, we do boost win chances for those who have entered 100 times without having won yet, so no one has to feel too discouraged <3 As well as more entries for every 50 entries after! 150, 200, 250, etc!)

The schedule is as follows:
MONDAYS - 7:30PM EST: FC will close and go on break for 24 hours. Winner will be chosen/announced on Tuesday. 
TUESDAYS/THURSDAYS - 7:30PM EST: Current round of FC will end, a new one will be chosen/announced.
SATURDAYS - 7PM EST: There will be a stream over on Twitch with a countdown for the final 30 minutes of the round. A new character will be chosen/announced then at 7:30PM EST.

FAQ:

How do I enter?
First, join our Discord! The game takes place there. Then all you gotta do, is create art for the current featured character and link your OC (and any important notes about then!) alongside your art entry for a chance to have your character featured next.

What kind of characters can I enter?
Anything! As long as it is within the rules (Listed in the rules channel on Discord), any character is fine. It can be human, feral, anthro, mech, blob, or anything in between!

I'm not good at art.. Will I ever win?
Winning Featured Character is based on random chance. Everyone who enters is given a number and the randomizer chooses a winner off that. Skill has no part in this game. Whether you have a career in art, or have never drawn in your life, we welcome you to participate! Featured Character is a great way to practice your art skills.

I don't want to enter a character, but still want to gift art to the current winner. Can I do this?
Yes! Gift art is always welcome and very much appreciated. There is a dedicated channel in the Discord where gift art can be submitted.

Can I enter for a friend or mutual?
Yes! As long as they have given you permission and are okay with it, you are more than welcome to enter for another person with your own art.

I have seen this idea before on ArtFight...
That you have! Biscuit (my co-admin) is the original creator of the one that was formerly running on Art Fight's platform. The game has since been discontinued there and is now being continued in our own hands. We have both formerly co-hosted the Art Fight one, so fret not, nothing fishy going on here! You're welcome to cross-check our credentials via Art Fight's former staff section! This also means that we are experienced in running a game and server at this scale, so rest assured that the game is in good hands and won't crumble due to lack of experience or lack of commitment!

Is this a safe space?
Yes, absolutely!! This is a 100% LGBTQ+ friendly space! We have a variety of pronoun roles to fit your needs, including but not limited to: they/them, zie/zir, fae/faer, any pronouns, refer by name only, etc!
Our server also forbids NSFW, so it's also a safe space for minors!
Additionally, we are always open to feedback and to learning. 

I don't want to partake in the game, I just want friends...
That's okay!! You're perfectly welcome even if you don't participate in the game and merely want to watch and make friends! c: We also host movie nights and a variety of other fun activities!
