just curious to see what stands out in my art style (: what makes in unique and recognizable? like if you saw an art piece and didn't know who the creator was, what would make you realize that it was mine?

more art examples (ko-fi) - also welcome to look through my art tab here on th (:

honeydont

doing this for your humanoid art since that's my specialty!

you use a lot of angular shapes and textures, the corners of the mouths have this little upwards quirk to them, necks tend to be fairly thin, facial features are wide and visually 'flat', line across the back of hands to denote knuckles, hands are generally drawn oversized, there's often two lines across the bridge of the nose, pigeon-toed stance appears often in frontward facing standing poses

if i had to pick one singular thing that defined your style it'd be the way you draw mouths! i don't tend to see that very often so it's pretty unique :)

your style's super cute btw! love how you use shapes and how toony it is

honeydont aa i just wanted to thank you for writing such an in depth response!! the fact that you clearly took the time and put effort into your comment actually means a lot, thank you so so much 🫶

side note i hadn't even realized how much i do the pigeon-toed thing until now xD

OrangJooce

Omg the toe beans on the last piece so cute, I think what is eye candy to me is like how clean the line art is and how many pretty colors pop! Also the expression are great in each piece ^^

Crazyclaw

You have some really clean lineart, and symmetry as well! that stuff is always memorable to me because, it seems so difficult :o

but it makes your style extra cohesive, i like it

Aarix

Hard push toward simple geometry. Symmetry. Stabilised lines of consistently medium weight, drawn with a specific gritty brush. Flat colours. Symbolic shorthand as opposed to realistic. Lotsa canines. There's a specific vocabulary of shapes you use in representing hair and fur. Same with hands. And the way you depict folds on fabric.

BluLexie

the poses are very nice and dynamic, not the mention the way you don't overcomplicate things but it still conveys across very well

Onychophora

I love the rectangular aspect of your art, and your clean lineart and bright colours! You incorporate lots of cool shapes into your art & designs. The simple shading and recognisable spiky eye shape are really cool! Overall i love your artstyle! <3

subtle choice of coloring, not too harsh, but not too light!Â
