I dunno how it's going to turn out in the long run but I just mirrored my tumblr blog to wordpress. The theme I'm using makes it super easy to organize commissions and portfolio/projects and still allows standard blog posts. Other people are moving to pillofort.io which is basically new tumblr but you need a $5 code to join. They're in the early stages of production so I wouldn't keep my hopes up for how great joining is. If you want to go the complete opposite direction, an old reliable is dreamwidth; they've been around a very long time and are an open-source livejournal.
If you don't care so much about the blog aspects, there's deviantart as portfolio and amazing organization in a huge as heck site, mastodon or twitter for microblogging and zero organization, and instagram which is (imho) an absolute pain to post on if you're on anything that isn't a mobile device.
You can always try more than one! Whatever you do, I wish you the best of luck!
