Not entirely sure if this thread's been made yet but here we are.

Rhythm and musical games! Games where you press the button to the beat or maybe just games with big music themes, let's talk about them here!

I'll start off by saying I've only played a few rhythm games, the biggest one being rhythm heaven but I still really enjoy them nonetheless.

Other rhythm games I've played include stuff like, Dark Witch Music Episode: Rudymical, Wandersong, Just shapes and beats, Gabrielle's ghostly groove, a little bit of GalMetal and Voez and some of the hatsune miku games. These are just the ones off the top of my head.

There's some I haven't played but are aware of like Pop'n Music, and Taiko no tatsujin.

Whether you've played any of these or maybe something not included in here, feel free to talk about it here!

I love rhythm games!!

Ones I've played:

  • Parappa the Rapper ("Kick, punch, it's all in the mind, if you wanna test me, I'm sure you'll find the things I'll teach ya are sure to beat'cha, nevertheless, you get lesson from teacher!")
  • Dance Dance Revolution (I own DDR: Hottest Party, which is admittedly my least favorite of them all, but still has some good songs)
  • Pump it Up (Sort of like DDR, but with 5 directional arrows and a focus on hit music from South Korea. It also has cute animations playing over the songs. I actually prefer it over DDR!)
Ones I want to play:
  • Pop'n Music
  • Parappa the Rapper & Um Jammer Lammy
  • Rhythm Heaven
  • Space Channel 5 & Space Channel 5 Part 2
  • Vib-Ribbon
  • Elite-Beat Agents
