I've noticed a couple of threads where I went to report someone for not fulfilling their claim and the creators of the thread are no longer active. What should be done in a situation like this? People just come in for free art, draw nothing and leave without any consequences. This is not something you can report them for on the site and needs to be handled by a thread mod.
One of the only things I can think of to help handle this would be to have someone (a volunteer) temporarily take over the thread responsibilities until said mod came back. Like, they'd leave a message on that person's profile and tell them that they were handling things until they got back. But another person can't edit someone's thread and that would require at least one post per page for people to see it? Idk, it infuriates me to no end to go in and post art and then have someone not follow the rules whether it's because they "forgot," didn't want to do their part in the end, got their part already and didn't want to finish their end or just wanted free art.
