Do you lucid dream?

What's a "lucid dream"?: A dream where you can control what's happening whether it's yourself or your surroundings.

How do you lucid dream?: It varies from person to person..there's no real way to do it. Some have "taught themselves", were born with the ability, or it happens on occasion.

☁︎ So guys, do you lucid dream? How much are you able to control? What's the scariest thing that happened while you were lucid? What's the most paranormal thing that happened? Do you like having the ability? ☁︎

My entry:

I think gained the ability when I was 6 or 7. I used to "plan" what I was going to dream about, and I would then dream about that thing. A decade later and I can now replay a dream (like a video game), control my actions in my dreams, wake myself up on command, and tell my mind to "switch" to different dream.

I guess the scariest thing was when I forgot how to wake myself up. I kept trying and trying but it wasn't working & I was freaking out. Eventually I remembered and simply said to word, "no." Then I woke up.
Paranormal thing? Can't say I can recall anything of the sort.
Do I like the ability? Yeah. It's like I'm the protagonist of a movie.

yeah i was able to teach myself how to lucid dream because of my absolutely atrocious sleeping schedule.. i do it p often in the fact that i let my dreams run naturally unless i dont like how something is going then i'll change it.

i like being able to lucid dream, lets me dream about what i want AND lets me wake up p quickly if i have any nightmares

I wish but nah. I'm so dumb in my dreams it bewilders me at times. The other day I dreamed about being trapped in a room that literally had TVs all over with the words "You are dreaming, wake up" all over them and I still didn't realize it was a dream. I'm not sure I can tell my dream self it's a dream any better if that didn't work lmao

I've noticed that stress will cause me to lucid dream more, it's very odd. My dreams when I'm stressed are more abstract and confusing.

Yes, every single dream I have is lucid, and very lucid as well. I can force command to wake up, control my actions, and the weirdest part is that I can recall real life memories in the dream. I actually choose to rarely wake myself up, *especially* in scary dreams, and as much as this might sound weird I enjoy the thrill?? Like even if it’s horrifying I’ll choose to not wake up from it because I like the experience? Idk. I never taught myself to do it but I wasn’t born with it either. Just a few years ago it kinda just started happening. It started by being able to wake up from a dream and sleep and continue where I left off. Like let’s say I’m dreaming of something and I wake up, I can close my eyes and manually power the dream, like, imagine it, and soon I fall asleep again and it picks up where it left off.

Edit: the most terrifying thing that’s every happened is I had one short dream where there was this old guy at my dance class and he gave me bad vibes. The dream ended and that was it. I had a different dream about three weeks later where I was at my dance class a different day, and he was there again. I remembered him from a past day. Him and his family followed me home to catch me alone so he could abuse me. He never did abuse me, I got away, but I knew that was his intent. It was like foreshadowing and memories from another dream.

I can lucid dream but it's rare and uninteresting, and even then I usually wake up pretty fast. When I do dream they're generally really vivid though. I remember shocking amounts of visual detail compared to words and stuff. Last time I had a lucid dream I was a little black cat demon thing and I was terrorising a little town. As soon as I realised I was dreaming I started flying and doing parkour on the rooftops

Oh little edit! Though I don't realise it's a dream very often, I find myself remembering stuff from real life or even previous dreams sometimes, or doing the thing where I tell myself "this is a dream" and then I wake up in the dream, and then I wake up in real life. It's really disorientating but it's pretty cool

I just the craziest set of lucid dreaming I think I've ever had..

I was in my dream..my mom wakes me up.

I fall back asleep, replay the dream again but now having the knowledge of what I did before..my mom wakes me up again.

I fall BACK asleep, and continue the dream until I get bored and wake myself up.

I've never been able to continue a dream after being woken up 2 times! Crazy.
