It's been a very long time since I met anyone who played Mabi outside of meeting them in game first, and since all servers have finally merged I feel like it'd be neat to find some mabi players again (If any LOL)
I've been on-and-off with mabi since it first launched (though the first hiatus to my second one was a massive gap) with me breaking my year and a half break today!
The game is as old as dust but still holds a pretty sentimental and warm feeling for me, despite it all, haha.
omg i used to play mabinogi a ton . i got back into it two years ago, but i'm not sure if i'd remember my account details they changed so much in that time between when i was, like, 12 to when i was 19-20ish and replayed it, and now i'm really missing it. i still have it installed, it's just a matter of figuring out my user and password [or just making a new account if i'm lazy enough]

Another Mabi player, the game is pretty old xD I first started playing yeeeeeears back and then forgot it for some reason. Just started a month ago agian with a new character, as I forgot everything. >.< I am at G2 as a elf, which I regret a bit as the falcon quest annoy the heck out of me. So insted I like to create things and collect anything I find. So my bags are always full, the dragon event is nice though as getting that bag reward was highly needed.
Vapor Oh yes absolutely LOL It's kind of nuts. Even coming back to it almost 2 years later there's still a lot of changes I'm not used to. The grind is real but oddly satisfying, I hope you end up remembering details! ;; It's always great to revisit a memory! Haha, glad to bring it all back, I feel like Mabinogi is something that's just on the back of the mind for many
pandaAWAKE Truly, haha. The graphics sure do show that, but the newer stuff is pretty neat at least! If you need help on generation quests (Those always end up being hellish haha) I'd be happy to help when I'm available, I'm still getting used to the game again after forgetting mechanics from my long break LOL. God yeah, bag hell is real. Bag rewards are always generous though, I'm super glad they still give out bags as event rewards rather than something to buy or gacha
It is, but it offers a lot of things so the graphics dont bother me. You are welcome to! I can’t take anyone with me down the dungeon tho, so I am trying to figure out if I could transform before going down so I maybe could lvl up the falcon. As for now, it only have 3 skill and start as lvl 22, and the first enemy sometimes kill me in 1 hit. xD The struggle is real. True! Lot of other games would have given out other kind of rewards like that, so I am super happy with getting this bag.

Oh man!! Mabinogi was a huge part of my childhood( and huge money sink for my poor parents, rip but a girl gotta get all those fancy pets) I remember when they first released the Iria continent, my friends and I had so much fun exploring it/finding glitched areas and testing out the new Elves and Giants!! Good times. Recently I made a new account in 2015 and played a TON, but sadly since my computer is windows vista/ 15yrs old, it can no longer run Mabinogi :-(. But I made a mabi oc to make up for it haha

diphosphorus Gosh I felt that LOL Yes!!! The Iria update was HUGE I remember siding with the Giants as soon as I could, but it was very difficult to choose a side haha

ahh my first online game that wasn't something for little kids like webkinz or club penguin, I think I started when I was around 8 or 9 :'D
I'm still a bit behind on the story though because I would procrastinate a lot (I didn't bother finishing divine knights until the event that made it a bit easier) and had to take a break for a year or two due to my laptop breaking and not having another way to play, but currently doing G9 and G22!
I don't log in super often anymore thanks to ff14, but it's still fun
i tried playing mabinogi a few times, but for some reason it forces you to edit your character once after starting and gets rid of the cool customization options.... im already kind of picky when it comes to character customization (this is why the only mmorpg i regularly play is pso2, its the only one with actually good customi) but that just made me sad. i would love to pick it up again and give it another shot though.
heartbloom Understandable, tbh I put off a number of generation quests for years aside from the core ones I really needed skills from haha. Oh, nice!! I forget what skills you get from both those gen quests but the knight generation quests were always my favorite. Alban gate music is also very pretty and the only time i willingly turn on town music haha. If you haven't been on in over a year, there's a lot more changes in game! I've been told they revamped a number of things!
vauxov Oh yes, I believe when you first start your character has very limited options. All of the better customizations you will need tickets for (or Pon, depending on what hairstyle/eyes they are) which are unfortunately gacha only, but since the servers merged, a in-game prices aren't that bad anymore and you'll probably run into people with extras. This is also a bit of a gripe with me and this game, but at the very least, it's really just a one time thing (unless you intend to change your hair/eyes constantly) so it's not the worst! The game is a lot more fun if you're able to drag a friend or two in with you, though! It's a pretty big and open game so people tend to get overwhelmed since you can do pretty much everything and you're not restricted to doing generation quest after generation quest. Once you get the hang of it though, it gets real fun!
divine knights was fun! i just have nightmares about hasidim because it took at least 50 tries to kill him, that thing stole all my soul stones ;v; but i tend to go to the alban area when i want to afk and be somewhere nice
i started playing again 2 years ago when i got my pc, it feels like i started more recently though haha
i love that they added the outfit motions, the only downside is that now i want to buy outfits i previously had no interest in just to steal their idle poses :'D

Oh goodness, I saw a thing like that in dressing room but I honestly have no idea what that is!
it's a more recent thing they added! you just have to put the outfit that you want to use the animation of into the dressing room, and you can apply it in the style tab~ only restriction is that the outfit you want to wear must be animated as well
also, since the thing about constantly changing hair/eyes was mentioned above and in case you haven't seen it, the dressing room has slots now so you can save your appearance, a life saver since some coupons are so expensive 🙏
