Hallo, freebie enthusiasts. There are certain types of gifting threads I wish existed, because I would participate in them, but I don't want to be in charge of one. Is this a good place to drop thread requests?

One of the ideas I'd like implemented would be a 'color this base for the person above you' thread with a base unique to the thread. I would gladly provide a nice shiny base but a freebie game thread would attract a lot of newbie artists with lots of questions. One of my least favorite things to do is hold a person's hand through the digital art basics. An OP for a thread like this might need to offer an extensive faq or a list of tutorials and I have no patience for that. If any patient saint is interested in maintaining an op (and a blacklist) feel free to get in touch with me about designing a base. 

MeganFantastic hey there! I know I'm certainly not able to manage anymore threads at this time, but maybe someone like HQ-THREAD-HUB ? I think your best bet might be to keep an eye on the freebie and game forums for a day or two and see if there are any reoccurring names- some people run multiple threads and they'd probably be your best bet!

I have a question regarding the WTA rule as I have a few to give out that I would like to rehome, however I do not have a set date that their entries close. I’ve put

 ‘There is no close date on these, they will be handed out to whoever has the best entry when every WTA character has at least 5 entries each’ 

would this be valid to put in the freebie thread? Or would it be considered against the rules And I HAVE to have a set date instead of more of a entry requirement Like I currently have? 

SlayerOfDucks I don’t think it would, but it’s honestly a rule people are lax about. My recommendation would be to say "the end date is whenever the character gets 5 entries or -insert date-" It could be a week or a month or whenever, so it’d be plenty of time for the character to get all the entries it was going to get, if it doesn’t go up to 5 in a short time, and it’d fully respect the rules. Question for the rules on the freebie bin-- Would it be okay to advertise a raffle that has an option to draw characters for an extra ticket? (Optional of course)
