- i actually liked mareep the least out of its evolution line?? it always looked awkward idk how to phrase it - but I LOVE FLAAFY and also ampharos but i miss the hair and wish it stayed in non-mega version.. i guess the Fluff got sheared though

- spring and summer are overhyped - i mean, not like, overhyped but overliked. winter is actually really nice, and it has better clothes associated w/ it that i prefer to wear, plus i kinda prefer cold over heat any day.. in summer its WAY too hot, and in spring, everyone gets really sick, nasally, etc as is evident of me Right Now ( even though i guess its technically summer rn and most of the nasally hay-fever stuff went away but hoo boy it sucked )

- i don't like how so many people dislike fe or the dragon quest charas in smash?? i get that sword fighters arent original but there are people who genuinely like FE. with dragon quest its bigger outside of america and nintendo isn't american, european, etc, so they don't have to appeal to just those fans who live there

- persona 3 is also overhyped like OKAY IM VERY VERY BIASED because LIKE i love persona 4 the most rn and i love persona 5 and i've never seen a persona 3 letsplay because everyone who did letsplays on it had like?? voices i didn't like. but i'm watching shenpais playthrough bc i'm more familiar with her and whenever i want to i'll watch it.. BUT THATS NOT THE POINT uhh I just feel like ??? at least with party members and personas the other games ahead of it did better.. which i guess is expected they're sequels so this whole opinion falls apart but YEAH.. also apparently persona 4 gets hate sometimes?? and im just like Wht... LIKE i agree i've never played P4 but the dungeons did look and feel kinda repetitive including the music in some of them but other than that the whole story is really good imo...

- ALSO LAST PERSONA OPINION I SWEAR but a lot of people hate marie ( p4g ) a lot and while i don't like her much either aside from her design i see a lot of people like labrys but she also feels like marie in the fact that she feels a bit shoehorned in sometimes?? plus her storyline feels really dragged out and it makes you forget your playing a persona game. or a fighting game. because not much gameplay happens and i've realized its kind of lazy when it uses just black for some bgs. also her voice which i guess is kinda cute but also out of place,, ONCE AGAIN i watched shenpais stream for P4A and she voiced her own opinions about disliking labrys esp. her predictable storyline so it probably rubbed off on me.. although. labrys is cute.

- ( nsfw-ish ) swear to god if i see any more people in the livechats of sword and shield footage where they show a new female character say shit like "can't wait to see r34 of ( NEW POKEMON CHARACTER )" i'm going to die... LIKE... it feels so much worse with these games i agree sonia and nessa are REALLY cute and they have nice designs but like hhghgghh it feels super uncomfortable hearing how many people say as SOON as they get on screen that they're r34 bait. also with sonias case, she might not even be legal ( plus, characters who aren't gym leaders, elite four, or professors are usually underaged ). talking about this i've already seen an nsfw in-character sonia blog and i'm going to die we don't even know her personality yet please lay off .. so with nessa its better i guess because shes probably an actual adult but it still feels gross

- i don't like pretzels

- red velvet cheesecake is the best type of cheesecake and while this probably isn't unpopular i just want to get that out there since i went to the cheesecake factory a few days ago and lets just say the food is a banger. absolute slap. taste wise.

- ( kinda venty ) also probably not unpopular but i kind of dislike moving really far away and i'm mainly saying this due to personal events but like if your going to spring moving SUPER suddenly to a 11-or-so hours away drive and you yell at your child to pack up stuff and that theyre suddenly going to have to change their entire life for seemingly no reason especially on a month they were looking forward to its just.. stressful.. also different areas have different natural disasters that occur more often and i really prefer just having flooding sometimes and vague tornado warnings that never come true so i guess moving out of state scares me - also popular cities being you know, more prone to Shady Things and bad stuff happening because of how many people are there some bad ppl are in there too. sorry for being venty in the first part kcdkskm

- kind of controversial i guess? but negative threads need to be much more moderated because a little bit of concerning things or stuff that breaks the rules slips through the cracks. and i mean this with like ALL negative threads. i've subscribed to this thread and the pet peeves one because i have an unhealthy habit of keeping up with what toyhouses userbase doesn't like due to the fact it interests me ( and checking comments or peoples opinions on any site in general ) and hoo boy! do not go through any of the negative threads in an entire sitting im begging you

- delphox is overhated?? i picked it as my starter first and genuinely don't see a problem with it.. i guess people don't like the design but. like. i like it more than chespins line i'm sorry.. and i usually prefer it over froakies line too but due to um... favorite characters Main Animal Associated With Them being a frog i now have an appreciation for froakie more but still.

- june and july really need to not be so close together BECAUSE LIKE while i love the illiteration when you go through all of the months and get to that part which is somehow rlly satisfying i get all of the events in june and july mixed up too often. i'm vaguing artfight. artfight. i mix up artfight and thought it was in june 2 years in a row.

and yes. sometimes character designers ( or people who tell the character designers how to design a character or clothes ) will oversexualize designs - do we know if they had that intent in mind? no. so we can't exactly blame them if it fits enough with their occupation like kasumi from p5r. also characters that are underaged with really oversexualized designs can make people extremely uncomfy and i think its perfectly fine to edit or redesign those. also just bc a characters fictional doesn't mean its right to draw Gross Things of them if its illegal irl... ( its fine to write that if its a characters backstory, that wasn't the point i was making thts fine!! just . don't fetishize it for your own needs. research too!!! but please CLEARLY mark and state that it has those themes in it because it can still hurt people who were victims of this stuff if you don't clearly state its in the writings / art / etc. also if its detailed state so )

i also feel like its fine to add features or stuff onto a character that are headcanons ( aka vitiligo, darker skin, freckles, etc, or a character being not cis / not het or something... many people already have enough White, Straight, Cis charas so i think thats fine to headcanon characters as Not Those or draw them as Not Those? they also end up looking super good and i haven't seen one that seems weird or racist )

but i think it's bad to set a character that has diverse traits to the opposite ( stuff like whitewashing, straight hcs / ships with a gay character, which removes the diversity the character had which is kinda phobic imo )? some people think both are bad but some ppl just want diversity ( most of the time i see its POC or people who arent cis / arent straight who draw more unique versions of a chara ) and yes while they can create original characters its fun to redesign a character in your image or draw them like that because you can relate to them better. thats fine.

lastly whitewashing always feels racist regardless and saying blackwashing is racist never made sense to me? anime / manga characters who live in asia can have dark skin which is mainly what people feel is racist about that. and doing it to a white character and saying its racist i don't understand.. theres already so many white characters, its fine to have a different appearence or interpretation for them as long as it isn't racist

( if this counts as against the rules, lgbtq+ opinion, or controversial i can edit it.. i get too rambly and i hate it because i have a hard time going back to cut things down to a simple sentence so i usually just leave it like it is but then i get anxious that i've said too much to the point that just rambling so much will get me into an argument so i end up editing it a lot anyways, but not the length usually )
