also i read the reasoning for the not including the national dex
if u consider the fact that each gen they have to take all the new moves/abilities and distribute them among all the pokemon then the workload each gen increases exponentially unless they put a limit on how many pokemon get updated each gen
also the pokemon home feature will keep all ur pokemon safe for the future
i just hope that home has security features and cloud save feature without the deleting pokemon that pokemon bank does (which makes bank unsafe for long term storage)
it could be worse, it could be like the game boy games (b4 virtual console) where they were cut off from future games completely
my main concern is if there will be cloud backup on swsh (this is the sort of game where u can easily get 100+ hour playthroughs)
i think there isnt a valid excuse for there not to be, they could have rating info stored on the server instead of in ur save file

The ending to Final Fantasy XV, imo, isn't nearly as satisfying as it should have been, and the fact that it weighed so heavily on being unable to break fate is sad. Especially when DLC and a novel based on planned DLC changed the ending to something way more satisfying and complete feeling.

bc Episode Ignis... the verse two ending had so much more raw emotion thanks to just how well Ignis was voiced and portrayed and Ignis essentially just showing fate who's boss was perfection and genuinely the best ending the game could have ever asked for im going to stop talking about ffxv now its just *clenches fist* my hyperfixation

I can see both sides of this, really. I understand that people may not want to see bodily excretions. I don't think we should require people to be ok with seeing poop and related excreta. The other side of this coin is, telling women to hide their menstruations because "they're gross" is telling women that something unique to them that is a part of the cycle of birth is "gross", and making them feel like Hunchbacks of Notre Dame once a month, who need to hide away from society for however long their period lasts lest they frighten children and the aged. That's cruel at its simplest and oppressive at its most complex.
The problem with wanting a "trigger-free life" is that life just isn't free of the things that can trigger people. And while it's reasonable to try to care about many upsetting things, if we try to care about every upsetting thing, then soon we become an oppressive society ourselves.
Finding a good balance between not tolerating awful things and oppressing other people's right to free expression is hard, because one day, someone may find your beliefs "triggering" and will try to silence you. (Generic "you", of course.)
