Regarding humanlike anthros (kemonomimis), when the animal ears and the hair are completely different colors, it looks absolutely terrible unless the ears fade to the hair color. But tbh, I have no idea if that's an unpopular opinion.

Even though my only nekomimi character fits that (gray/off-black/black hair but his ears and tail are white, so his his cat form; a pure white cat. Knowing him, he probs has it that way to annoy the shit out of people so lol. You fell right into his trap even though it was my idea to have it that way from the start oof), I gotta agree. It looks kinda wrong. But yet again, there are cats who have different colored ears compared to the rest of their body so that could be an excuse, design-wise.
I really dislike the idea of "matching offers" in regards to art trades (ex. fullbody for fullbody, sketch for sketch, etc.) because it just... doesn't work all the time? If that makes sense? Like, if a user draws really good busts but are still working on improving their skills in regards to fullbodies, I'd rather take two busts in exchange for a fullbody if that's what they're more comfortable with.
I much prefer matching quality and effort rather than just effort alone, especially if a user is more comfortable with drawing certain things over what they want in exchange.
yenndou ahh ikr? I’ve never watched the show or anything but I’ve seen some clips and seeing everybody ship them and romanticize every moment of them on screen makes me feel weird? People can ship them and it’s not really a problem to me, I just really prefer the two as a good friendship and seeing cute platonic pics of them instead
I've never understood the idea of sanitizing an entire online place into one giant Safe Space from "things that make me feel bad uwu". If most of the online place makes you comfortable but one place off in a corner does not, don't go there. Don't try to viciously and vindictively shut that one corner place down. Just don't go there. Not clicking on the link to it is your friend. Same with this thread. If people post an opinion you don't like but it doesn't break any of the rules, don't pull a Streisand Effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect) and complain about it. The Real World(TM) is full of people and places that think differently than you and may hold beliefs you don't like. That's called variety and freedom. So long as a place and its people aren't actively breaking the main place's rules, then suck it up that they say things you don't like, and again, don't go read it and/or scroll on by. Don't pitch a tantrum like a child.
