HMMMM that's a toughie... I think there's a divide between who I want the most and who I'd like to see win for the sake of accessibility/who I expect will win!
Just based on units I really want:
- Red: Legendary Marth or Tibarn... but probably Leg Marth since he's rarer.
- Blue: Legcina!! She seems really fun to use. I'd also really like Nailah to finally have someone who can counterkill Veronica.
- Green: Surtr was a mistake but it'd be great if he was on my side for once. Otherwise uhh... I pretty much have every rare green I could want aside from like every non-Hector armor.
- Colorless: i want summer linde... she cute... WAIT ALSO WINTER EIRIKA OR EITHER OF THE FLYING HEALERS god i want a flying healer So Bad but mia and sakura ate all my orbs and gave me nothing... also when will fgrima come home ;__;
And then the units I think would be best for people to have available to them:
- Red: Probably Leg Marth again since he's an all-around solid unit who provides a counter to common Dragon Emblem teams. Skylivia, Swordhardt, Belica, Winter Tharja, and Tibarn would also be good choices. A great flier who provides a center for flier teams, a powerful cavalry unit, a really good CYL unit who I feel got overshadowed by two great armors + Veronica being practically necessary if you rely on F2P guides for high-end content, a CC armored mage who's all-around really good, and a big meaty OP bird.
- Blue: Legendary Azura seems like kind of a shoo-in, unfortunately. A ranged flier with ludicrous skills who also happens to come with a skill that allows people to use her on arena teams pretty freely without their scores suffering too much. I am terrified of the future!! Stop singing so hard!! I'm bad at dealing with dancer AI especially when it comes with big buffs and extra movement!! Legcina and Leg Tiki would be useful, too, but I'll be super surprised if Legzura doesn't win blue.
- Green: god surtr is going to win isnt he. everyone's gonna have a surtr. not that it matters bc every damn team i run into these days has one. i am Dying
- Colorless: Uhh... I guess Veronica again would be nice for everyone who didn't pick her in CYL; a lot of my friends didn't and now they have a hard time clearing Abyssals and whatnot since they're so difficult that Veronica is practically necessary to make F2P guides that don't require loads of specific SI and seals. Winter Eirika or either of the flying healers would also be good choices since they're the only healers available to their move type. Kinshinoka is also a solid colorless pick, as is Duma.
My guesses for wins are Leg Marth/Legzura/Surtr/uhh... not sure honestly, maybe Duma since it'd give everyone an AR defense element pal to go with Eir on offense? Could also see Swordhardt winning thanks to Rein's popularity or maybe Tibarn, honestly Red has a lot of great options for a F2P unit!
I don't even know who I'd pick though, even between the ones I just want to win out of personal bias! If my predicted ones win, though, probably Legzura because there's no way she wouldn't become a guide staple and I need those because I am not the best at Fire Emblem Heroes.
