Since the original Unpopular Opinion Thread is locked (it turned into a shit-show reeeaaal fast) , I've gotten permission to remake it.
I've decided to use the original rules for the thread since those were gucci

unpopular onion but people arent really that easily offended LOL
youre just catering to a MUCH larger audience and as such theres more pressure to keep your content palatable as opposed to when your beliefs were the average of what you were raised with / heard about locally. now theres a lot more input as to what is okay and what isnt and many people are trying 2 better themselves & overcome
to be honest a lot of the easily offended people are trolls AND triggers dont need explanations. ie im grossed out by grilled chicken because it reminds me of a dissection i did a few yrs back and sometimes cant eat certain meals because of that but irl, simply saying "hey i have a thing abt grilled chicken do u mind not serving it to me" is plenty explanation for most people! theres [almost] no reason not to tag some things that people are freaked out by. ive also noticed that more mentally ill & left leaning people (such as me) use the internet / interact with the circles that some ppl are mentioning than neurotypical & right wing people. & as such, there are bound to be more requests for more accepting / less triggering [?] places.
i have genuinely no idea how much sense this makes but tldr; you have no idea about other peoples feelings and also theres no reason to be an asshole. live and let live unless ur hurtin another person brah

Not necessarily an opinion tbh, but to everyone who is frustrated about the new forum update, I get where you're coming from, but I don't think the general forums should be put back to where it once belonged. As a reminder, this site is focused on characters btw.

I dont hate the changes, but i would of liked a heads up beforehand instead of waking up and being like "???????". Its something that will take getting used to but ill live
