Since the original Unpopular Opinion Thread is locked (it turned into a shit-show reeeaaal fast) , I've gotten permission to remake it.
I've decided to use the original rules for the thread since those were gucci

but yeah no ive been a nintendo fan for the past 12 years and BIG agree!! like... the switch has such bad internal storage i just buy physical copies which is more difficult bc i can barely get out of the house.
also with BOTW..... yeah. i mean that isnt even debatable it just is what it is? it doesnt feel like a zelda game as nice as it looks!!
This might be the second/third time I've said about Fairy Tail, but Fairy Tail isn't all that bad. People only seem to hate it just because of the recent arcs, but the recent arcs aren't really that bad either. I don't get why people hate Fairy Tail in the first place.
Also, as a former Fairy Tail fan who doesn't like Fairy Tail anymore, Natsu isn't a shit protagonist y'all.
I'm sick and tired of the belief all villains/antagonists need to have a reason to be evil it feels so stupid to put such a restriction on villain characters instantly deeming them as badly written just because they don't have a specific reason to be how they are when tbh I've seen this forceful push for all villains to have a reason result in more poorly written baddies than good ones. And like why isn't there some push for the same standards for protagonists? What is the reason for your protagonist being good? IMO if you wanna have villains need a reason to be evil have heroes need a reason to be good look I know a lot of people have the belief that people are inherently good, but that isn't justification for lopsided character development. I'd rather not debate on this please don't
Don't know if it's unpopular as such, but I can't stand summer. I hate the sun and I hate being so sweaty and gross and honestly the heat makes me so frustrated I could cry. If it were possible I would hibernate through the summer and only wake up for autumn, like a reverse bear or something.

Agreeing with the others about summer. There's very few things I like about it, and I can't stand extreme heat. I'd rather be cold all the time, at least then I can just drink hot chocolate and walk around my house wrapped in a blanket.
Fictional serial killers are far more interesting than IRL serial killers. 95% of the time in real life, the motive comes down to the serial killer doing it because they were bored or because they hated a specific group of people. (e.g. women) Fictional ones tend to have far more interesting motives. Plus with fictional ones, no one's hurt in real life, which is another bonus.
Plus the fact that IRL serial killers have so many fans going on about how sexy they are is kind of gross, tbh. They're garbage examples of humans, don't romanticize them.
on the topic of newer anime i really like the promised neverland but the depiction of sister krone is.... well. kinda bad!
anime fans NEED to be critical of the blatant racism that a lot of series have bc like. you cant just sit and be okay with characters like sister krone its just fucked up
Not every villan needs to be redeemed, not everyone is going to get along with you in life and telling kids that everyone will like you and want to be friends with you with rose tinted glasses is a really terrible idea. Looking at you su. It’s okay to have villains be villains and stay villains.
Arcade-style mobile games are so boring/uninteresting, regardless of how original some of these kinds of games are. Also, what's the point of getting some generic "cool-looking" skin in an arcade-styled mobile game when it doesn't affect gameplay at all? I don't get these games tbh. :\
Gotta agree with the bit about summer I'm not tolerant of heat (yet I tend to mostly go to hot countries with work oof) so I overheat and get uncomfortable very quickly. I am getting better because I have to work outdoors where there's not a lot of shade but I still dislike the heat. I also get tired of sun worshippers complaining about people who prefer the cold as being miserable bastards and how they'll hit any cold lover who complains about the rain just because the heat's comfortable and enjoyable for you to sit in doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. Just because I don't like heat doesn't mean I have to like rain. I mean I like listening to rain but I don't like being out in it and that's reasonable regardless of if you like heat or not. I just don't like feeling so hot it's making me feel ill and like the only way to cool down is to rip my skin off.
Sorry that ended up a rant but this really bugs me.
