Since the original Unpopular Opinion Thread is locked (it turned into a shit-show reeeaaal fast) , I've gotten permission to remake it.
I've decided to use the original rules for the thread since those were gucci

Not all hobos are broke and need your money. Some of them are just doing it because they don't want to get a job, or it's their hobby, and actually have an apartment or a house that they live in. I know one guy who begs by my grocery store every day, this guy lives in two story house and has as a college professor. This guy was my math professor last semester. Guy's either the smartest scammer I've ever seen, or he has tapped into a new hobo begging market that has yet to be exploited by the stock market. Being a hobo is literally his hobby. Not all hobos need your money.
I'll do that Kpop unpopular opinion one better.
North Korea has better music than South Korea for the most part. I will blast their propaganda jams over any Kpop. Note that I really only mean Kpop here, I haven't listened to enough music from South Korea to fairly judge it as any sort of whole.
Also a good chunk, but of course not all of them, of Kpop fans are just horrible people. The artists are not your toys to fetishize. They are real people.
That's also true of a lot of youtuber fans who don't get that. Let the people be people. If you like them you'd think you'd show them basic fuckin respect but some people really don't.

Neopronouns? Fine! They don't harm you, or the trans community. ( hid it because i'm a little genuinely scared to express this )
( this includes neosexualities,,, if thats what you call them, and neogenders,,, if that is. also what you call them ) I don't use them myself but;; i know people who do! They're already boarded out of the community by other people enough.
I hope this doesn't sound rude, but it isn't really that unpopular from what I've seen, and also you should talk about that privately. Not publically where people who use them can get hurt; They already have to deal with that! Everyday! I'm, once again, sorry if this sounds rude, I'm just tired of hearing it a lot;; even though in this particular thread it wasn't expressed very often but the times they were still stuck out to me.

Controversial opinions are also not allowed unless taken lightly." i don't,,, exactly know what happened to it but i feel like people should take in mind that no matter what you think, neopronouns etc usually consider themselves lgbtq+. They do go by MOGAI too, but MOGAI is also, usually considered lgbtq+ ( by themselves or others ).
(( and i might get affected by this rule before the people who have talked about this in short posts have, which might suck! remember, i'm trying to educate people on this rather than start an argument ( which is also why i didn't ping other than due to fear ); when i see this particular opinion i just feel like speaking about it ( not sure if shorter posts get off free with it? ) i'm not sure if this counts, but basically what this opinion is trying to say is that neopronouns shouldn't be controversial ))
- second of all, neopronouns might be hard to learn, but they don't harm you! There's a common argument that's like ""Neopronouns harm trans people, and it's why people think of us as a joke"" The best argument I've heard for this is people aren't going to erase their phobias because neopronouns don't exist. In all honesty, phobic people don't really seem to know about it unless they go to a place or someones page where they express that. Also, the whole "Neopronouns / asexuality / etc" harms trans / lgbtq+ people is a little bit disheartening to those people. All LGBTQ+ people shouldn't argue over what is and isn't LGBTQ+. ( pedophilia incest tw in next sentence ) There isn't a definition. The only things that shouldn't be in are people who use the "love is love" thing to squirm their incest / pedophilia inside, which isn't LGBTQ+ and it's illegal.
- Saying neopronouns aren't LGBTQ+ is like saying nonbinary isn't trans / lgbtq+ - it is. NB people can transition, make an effort to look NB, etc. They are different from assigning as a birth gender; Which is why I count it as trans. ( and the white in the trans flag is for NB, too! ).
- if anyone reading this is lgbtq+ you're cool! including neopronouns etc
okay,, sorry for getting ranty! I'll bend and edit this post if I need to ( even if it just gets boiled down to the base argument ),,, no offense to anyone who expresses these opinions, I just felt like giving a educational(?) ranty essay about it i guess. once again!! not trying to be rude or sound like it! sorry!

If you're 20+ & you're still jacking off about having better taste/more emotional maturity/more self-awareness than someone who's literally still in middleschool then you really need to go outside
Of course kids wanna explore their identities of course kids want attention of course kids make bad art & make mistakes & do embarrassing stuff that's what the process of growing up actually entails. If you don't wanna have to see it, that's fine, block them/find other places to hang out. Get on with your life. None of it will impact you I promise.
There's plenty of actual harmful content around here, but sparkledogs & neopronouns aren't it.

honestly same. i feel like a lot of this is just reactionary kneejerk reactions re: any sort of change because "oh no! too much change is bad and it makes the change we have already done magically not existent anymore :-(" which is honestly completely backwards thinking oof. thats the kind of thinking that gives us swinging poll results and a certain dorito in charge bc people stop caring,,,
