Have you participated in a dA ARPG or petsite?

HELLO EVERYONE!! I hope you have been having a lovely week!!
So i have been slowly working on an ARPG group and i thought it’d be fun to maybe do a little questionnaire for people who have participated in an dA ARPG/RP group, petsite, etc. before and wanted to share what interests them about them!
If interested, please answer the questions below, long answers and personal experiences are absolutely welcome!!
(Please do NOT call out other groups, sites or users by name if you have any experiences of “what not to do” that you wanna share)
1.)What about ARPGs and the like appeals to you? Is it developing/leveling up your character, collecting, art prompts, interacting with others, something else?
2.)Which of these activities do you find most appealing ranked from most interested to least interested:
-leveling up your character and drawing/commissioning art of them
-Collecting all the items in the game and unlocking badges
-Participating in a large group RP that has a dungeon master and plot thread
-Participating in a discord chat to make friends, meme around, develop your character, do small rps, etc.
-Customizing your character, house and making custom items
-Playing gatchas and getting pets
3.) do you feel all items in an ARPG and the like should have a purpose outside of being collectibles/sellable?
4.) do you like a competitive atmosphere for a group or more relaxed vibes?
5.) What do you think about art restrictions/ quality controls?
6.) what are your favorite things to do on petsites?
7.) How important is having a fleshed out world and setting for the ARPG to you?
8.) What do you think is something important for a group to have for it to be successful, and more importantly fun to play?
9.) What things do you not like seeing in an ARPG or keeps you from wanting to participate?
