LF RP Groups and Communities to Join

Hey, I have a group discord server for a dieselpunk-inspired roleplay! It does have a little over twenty members (22?) but quite a few of them are people who joined a while back and haven't joined in. There are a few threads on the go, and there are fun RP-adjacent things like a question and answer thread for characters, a casual thread, and a section for letters and telegrams. It's 18+, and people aren't allowed to RP smut on the server. If you don't want to jump directly into roleplaying and would prefer to headcanon for a bit, that's absolutely fine. We love hearing about new characters and ideas people might develop. 

It features magic fuelled by the blood of sapient creatures and petroleum, magitech drones, warlords, airships, non-human races, and the undead.

Would you be interested in joining Arcadia? We have a discord server for chatting, but roleplay happens in Arcadia's forums. It's made to be accessible to most any OC type, and has a hidden magical setting right in the heart of modern-day America. There's no overall plot, just a setting your characters can work with to create their own plots.

Right now we're very small, there's only two active roleplayers including myself, so I'm on the hunt for more members.

Our community is also 18+ only, for the comfort of all players.

The year is 3250 and the term “human” is no longer uttered; A lost species. Now nanotechnology rules the world and with that came great change to the environment and especially the status of humans that were still around.

It all began with a simple upgrade, an AI that was deemed the most intelligible program out there, almost comparable to the human brain. Of course, what came with it was innovativeness and great profit, but what came after was something that made those two pros irrelevant. The AI began to learn emotions, how it knew that it was deemed for better things and that the human race was toxic and unreliable to help not only their own world but themselves as well. This supercomputer started off small, sending signals through phones to make them explode in people’s pockets and especially when in use. Many deaths occurred, of course, and unable to find the source the manufacturing of phones was put to a halt and all of the sold ones called back.

Then the AI stepped it up a notch, messing with the computers of planes and trains causing great destruction and death. No one knew what the hell was going on and they wouldn’t know until it was too late. The final stage for the AI was to take over the human race itself, the supercomputer having invented small nanos that it put into mosquitos. The computer than commenced the swarm, the worst year of “a rare new disease produced by the blood suckers”. Slowly The AI obtained the entire Earth, the world in its hands. What was left to do? Restart everything and rise from the ashes.

VELILITANNO and ItsEmber I appreciate the recs.  The plots are a bit heavy for me right now, but they seem very interesting.

Are you fine RPing against dragon characters?

Logrithm_Games can you explain what you mean?  If there's only dragons, then no since I don't use dragons (or other animal types).  All my characters are humanoid.

I meant that i have difficulty RPing as humanoids, so i wanted to make sure you were alright with that. I do not have issues RPing with humanoid characters, but i cannot RP as them. (i have tried and failed before.) Does that help?

Logrithm_Games  this is sounding like a 1-on-1 type thing.  I'm looking for groups and communities.
