Each and every one of them is a fighter at heart, either a specialist in a specific martial art or has hybridized a couple different disciplines into her own style.
My headcanon is that everyone here is a member on a social meetup app called Fighthouse, where you can room and board across the world with a host, with all expenses paid if you defeat them in battle.
