Come join the International Federation of Sled Dog Sports (of toyhou.se)!
We're a group of sled dog enthusiasts interested in sledding and related sports, including (but not limited to!) canicross, bikejoring, skijoring, and weight pull. IFSS-TH is modeled after the real-world International Federation of Sled Dog Sports, a group dedicated to the love of all things dog-powered.
We're open to all artists and writers of all abilities, and allow members to participate with any dog breed(s) they choose.
IFSS-TH is a Dog Art Role Playing Game. Members draw their dogs participating in training, sports, competitions, and daily life. Each drawing earns you points that count towards the seasonal leaderboards. Top Dogs earn prestige and a place in our Hall of Fame.

It's training season at IFSS-TH! Now's the perfect time to join the Federation and get some serious experience before the major shows in a couple of months. We are currently running 4 competitions (2 judged on effort, 2 judged by random number generator) every month to prepare handlers and their dogs for our big, end-of-season races: the 1,000-mile Yukon Quest in February and the 900-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in March.
Not interested in running with the big dogs yet? No worries! We're running multiple short- and mid-distance races every month, as well as a rotating selection of other sports. Check out our show schedule for a complete list of competitions.
Getting Started
IFSS-TH is an open RP group. There are no applications, no activity checks, and no character limits. You can play how you want, when you want.
All you need to start is a dog (or two...or ten). You can create your own or buy a litter puppy or started dog from another member. Keep in mind that, while we accept dogs of any breed or mix (including user-created breeds!), designs still need to be realistic and as true-to-life as possible. We don't accept fantasy dogs or dogs with neon greens, leopard spots, wings, etc.
Once you have a dog (or multiple dogs), submit their reference image to our gallery. Make sure to include important information like their name, breed, age, and sex. Additional information like their team position, personality, and history are helpful as well!
Once your dog is accepted into our gallery it is considered registered and can participate in all the activities IFSS has to offer. You can get a Sledding Aptitude Test to see where they'll perform best, train in a sport and earn some titles, or jump right in and enter a competition, no experience necessary!
