Pangaea… a vast continent surrounded by an ocean that reached so far that if you were to cross it you would end up on the other side of the continent. But this here isn’t all of Pangaea, this isn’t it’s vast deserts to the south or the harsh snowy tundras to the north. This… is Terra. Terra is a small village where people have gathered and made home in the valley of the forest. The sun shines bright in the summer and the clouds bring cooling rain in the spring. The leaves ever change with the seasons and the people live together in a sense of harmony and community. There are few buildings, just those needed for the people of the quaint town. Within the meadow are all sorts of people that live together. Some are humans, yes. But there are many others. Shape shifters, nymphs, faes and animals that traverse on two legs and speak the same tongue as everyone else. Sometimes, when the rain is passing, if you are to look overhead you will see a long glittering form passing in the gaps in the clouds. That… is Gaia. The mother of Pangea and the deity of Terra. Some say that if you wish to meet with the mother you must climb the Great Waterfall and lay an offering to her shrine. The trek is not easy for any creature, as even those with wings will find it hard to reach the height that the waterfall stands. Outside of Terra, before the Great Waterfall there is the forest. Light filters through the trees and wildless skitters underbrush and in the branches. Some creatures who do not prefer the inner living of the village may find home out here. Pixies, fauns, those who enjoy to sleep beneath the stars or within the tree burrows. The river runs from the waterfall and through the forest, a wooden bridge sits nearby. You may often find a curious fox fishing here. She is the mayor of Terra and if she is not in the village you will find her here.(edited)
Be kind to those you meet fair traveler, come and trade or work for your stay as there is no currency in Terra. Just good hearts and good food. While some places in Pangaea may have electricity or levels of technology, Terra is a very simple village with none of these things.(edited)
