First of all, I'd like to thank you for opening this post & (mayhap) reading through it. I truly appreciate it.
Here's the deal: I haven't had a proper chance to role-play for quite some time and personally I feel really rusty. Therefore, I'm looking for someone to role-play with me, preferably someone who's about or little more literate than me to keep pushing me to improve with my vocabulary and in general. Also, new friend. When you're out of the 'role-play' community for some time, it gets difficult to 'blend' back into the crowd.
To get to know me a little better, I'll introduce myself: name's Alex and I'm nineteen years old (I'll be hitting twenty in a few months, it's pretty terrifying to be finally out of the teenage zone). I've been role-playing roughly since I've been eight years old, so for about eleven years. As for where I'm from - I'm a foreigner, so when it comes to English I'm essentially self-taught and I make plenty of grammatical mistakes to 'trigger' a standard grammar freak crazy. What I'm looking for:
✅ Someone at least partially committed to role-play
✅ Has at least basic, preferably advanced knowledge of grammar & punctuation
✅ Creative / Being able to write few paragraphs
✅ A friend: Because that's what role-playing is good for, making friends with similar interest following similar goals. Whether it's hunting down dragons or saving the kingdom.
✅ Someone who has at least basic idea of what kind of role-play / what genre they'd like to play. I'm pretty indecisive. So, someone who 'has a goal' would be more than welcomed!
P.S. I don't want to seem like a picky / mean person, but it would be pretty cool if you'd be both role-player and an artist. I like to sketch and doodle myself, but it gets pretty boring very quickly when I've got no one to share it with / discuss it with. I'm not against self-improvement and yada-yada, but it's always more fun to do it with someone else rather than my own reflection. But that's not actually a requirement, it's more-so a hopeful 'wish' that someone who's both role-player, artist and interested in playing with me exists.

Hey! I know this post is a few days old but I saw it while I was actually looking to make a similar post! I don't get to roleplay often, but it's something I love to do- so finding someone else looking for partners is kind of a miracle!
I'm pretty indecisive on plots myself, but I can come up with a few ideas- especially if I know the character I'll be using!

Hey there! I am highly interested in roleplaying with someone literate and someone who I can share artwork with. Your comfort meme is nearly identical to my tastes and, if I'm being entirely honest, I am a bit rusty as well. But I've been in the roleplay game for about 12 years now so I highly doubt either of us being rusty will be any sort of problem!
