Veteran returning to RP: Advice? Tent seeking?

I have been writing for characters and role playing for 12/13 years now. I am most familiar with private, one on one role plays between two people. I spent several years in group role plays of 2-7 people and have had so many bad experiences with it, I will not be going back to that. I am open to 3 people groups but do not know how that would work. I am most comfortable with and familiar with one on one role plays!

My writing is of higher quality and I expect the same of my writing partner. I tend to go long with my posts so matching it is not always necessary, but I ask the bare minimum of two paragraphs unless it is slow. Proper punctuation, capitalisation, spelling, and coherant understanding of the English language is a must. I do have spelling/typo trouble myself sometimes and I try to correct my posts as I type them, but being stuck permanently on mobile makes that difficult. Also no touching, injuring, or manipulation of characters without either person's explicit permission.

I do have my own worlds with well established rules and laws, but am willing to compromise. They have been under construction for about a decade now, though the second world has only been in development for about two or so years. I have anthro characters, human, feral, and humans with feral forms. I have a preference for shifters and anthros. No fan characters, only exception being pokemon which i am highly wary about.

I have reading and attention issues, so have patience if I can't read or write properly immediately after you post. My health is questionable but I should be able to get back to you within a week at the very longest, or unless we decide to put it on hold. That being said, do NOT vanish without a word after we have discussed, plotted, and started the RP. I am always open and understanding, so if you need a break or to stop, just let me know. I cannot stress this enough. If you follow one rule, make it this. Don't leave me in the dark, it makes me feel depressed, anxious, and feel not even worth your time and effort.

I don't know what I am doing otherwise, lol. Anyone have any advice or pointers?

Just ask about any of my characters you like, or suggest a situation. I have too many to post here. I am open to friends or romance (though I will be tent on romance). NSFW is okay, though I will never do an RP just to focus on it. Straight, homosexual, or anything in between are okay with me, as are LGBT+ in general. Other dark themes like murder, violence, drugs, et cetra are all okay. Please post a synopsis of your character if you are offering them, as well as a writing sample. I can post my own as well.

Aaa,, this is a huge mess. I hope i'm coherant. :/ This might not even work, but if someone thinks I might be worth your time, we can try it. I'm bad at making friends, but i love writing and my characters more than anything, so.

So sorry! School and work have kept me preoccupied;

I have two worlds I have developed, the primary differences being one has magic and one does not.

The older of the two is the one with magic. There are gods, though they are far weaker or stronger depending on when in the timeline, countless spirits, minor gods, and demigods. This is also where all of my shifting characters are, any human with any sort of changing shape ability, super power, or being able to become an animal. Those that have any sort of power, from shifting to breathing underwater, means they have god blood in them, though it could have been 100 generations back. It is most like our society, and shifters are secret, and everyone has forgotten about the gods in modern time. Any unnantural designs and colour is fair game, like winged dogs or purple cats. The second world had magic, and was just like the first, but magic was ripped out of the world forcefully generations ago. This caused every one who had even a drop of shifter blood in them to become permanetly anthro, no longer able to change form or have any sort of unnatural power. All anthro are only of colour or pattern that are found naturally, and hybrids are allowed but unable to reproduce. So a dog with cheetah spots or a goat/rabbit hybrid would be allowed, but no dragons, blue cats, or more than two species in a single hybrid. Dying fur and tatoos and body modification are all entirely allowed, but it must be something possible in real life. So things like being a cyborg or having wngs put on are not allowed.

I do, however, have a "non canon" version where there are anthro and shifters living together, of any colour or species, but this is more for personal muses than a world i want to give too much time and effort to.

I have this girl who is inspired by DnD thieves but could beasily be made human and put into that world, if you'd like. I'd have to flesh out her personality, but I can do that, of course.

She's awesome. I'm currently looking at fleshing out Zillah's personality, and he's was raised one of the Forsaken so it looks like that's probably the best character for now.

How do you prefer to RP? I'm happy to create a forum in the world or use discord as my main two options.
