What is ranger what is dnd
Lumivaara is growing trade city, home to the largest base of adventurers and scholars in the country. Situated next to the mysterious, ever-changing Lumivaara dungeon and the dark Mysti Forest, brave adventurers can take on quests or go exploring to fight monsters, complete jobs for rewards, and prove their battle-worth.
Books & Beholders is a 16+ deviantArt RP group which is set in Lumivaara, and is based on the Dungeon and Dragons 5e system and lore, with its own world elements. You can undertake regular RP as well as DM-run dungeon crawls, while meeting other adventurers, earning gold, and leveling up your character.
- DnD noobs and seasoned players are both welcome!
- There will be both regular RP and DM-run quests/encounters
- You can earn gold through both art and RPing/writing
- The group closely follows the system from DnD 5e, including leveling, stats, and combat
- You'll need a dA and Discord to join
Group Status:
Third enrolment coming soon! Reservations will open Feb 7th and join requests will open Feb 21st! Both will close on March 6th.
Feel free to watch the group on dA for announcements or join the Discord server to chat to members/other DnD enthusiasts when it is opened to the public on Feb 7th!

Most of Xanathar's stuff is ok to use! We've had a number of people request subclasses from there
For Volo's (and other expansions), while they're not technically 'blacklisted', monstrous races like goblins, kobolds and orcs are restricted because of not fitting well into the world/lore (because they're monstrous they're typically not allowed into the city, so they character would need a very good reason to be in the city and not freak people out etc). That being said, there are a number of races from Volo's that have been previously approved for other people, like tabaxi

you can buy a ticket from the shop which allows you another character, so if you join the group, there's that ahah
