Giving us another bump!
With a lot of work, dedication, and a massive amount of help from both new friends and old, the Frozen Wasteland Discord server is now LIVE!

The premise: There has been a zombie outbreak and it overtook the world, destroyed civilization, and it will be survival based. But I see too many zombie themed stories and worlds that seem to just be there for the gore or the danger and not focusing on the people and struggles within! So I will be going with the basic concept that zombies function best in moderate temperatures, they thrive from temperatures ranging from 70ish to the 90s (Fahrenheit), but in triple digits they deteriorate much faster and decay so fast that they fall apart, while in cooler temperatures, their bodies literally seize up and freeze, where they can never move again unless unfrozen.
So the settings will be taking place in far North areas of the globe, a mix of real places as well as fictional towns and cities! These places are short on resources and have to rely on hunting animals and keeping warm, providing their own electricity and faring against bandits, but while zombies are abundant in the rest of the world, they are nonexistent in these areas because they are just frozen statues outside. It is not decided yet if the virus travels purely by infection or also turns those who die (like The Walking Dead). This would be a survival based role play where members can build and create their own towns, join others, be loners, build the lore and history of their towns and safe places, and struggle with having to adapt to both the harsh and unforgiving weather while coping with the fall of society as a whole! All types of characters from anthro, to human, to humanoid characters are welcome!
The server is welcome to everyone, there is no enforcement on joining the role play so you can take your time settling in, and the rules are very pointed towards keeping a relaxed and open environment! You can always come to me (Vincent) if there is ever any issues, questions, comments, or you just wanna be friends! 8) My goal is to bring to life this world I thought up two years ago and share it with everyone so they can be creative and promote positivity and enjoyment!
