The Express Orphanage is responsible for giving a new home to ocs who were no longer wanted by their previous owners. From world to world, the train travels quickly, delivering characters to homes where they will be loved and cared for.

What is the Express Orphanage? How does it work?
Express Orphanage is a project that focuses on giving unwanted ocs a good new home. We have over 500 ocs up for adoption, patiently waiting for someone to adopt them!
To keep the project running, we have a policy regarding adoptions. You can only adopt 1 oc if you have 1 Train Ticket, which can be obtained by donating ocs to the project. Each oc donated is equivalent to 1 ticket, and 1 ticket is used whenever you adopt 1 oc. You can send us any oc you don't want anymore and adopt new ones with the tickets!
This orphanage is based on the principle of exchange, since you can adopt a character by donating another. Therefore, the characters obtained here can be exchanged with other characters at any time, BUT NOT SOLD. They have no economic value. They can only be sold if the current owner adds a drawing, in other cases not. Therefore, if you are caught going against this rule, you will be blocked immediately.
Remember: characters adopted here can be exchanged for other characters but not sold.

Rules regarding the process
- Dollmaker/AI ocs are not going to be accepted into the shelter to avoid what we call by "ticket gathering".
Ocs created with little effort (bases filled with few colours, doodled characters without too many particularities) are not welcome, even more so if presented in large numbers: this will help us avoid the "ticket gathering" phenomenon. - Be patient, we are a small team and we are dealing with many ocs at the same time!
- If you have any complaints or questions, please don't hesitate to send a dm to ExpressOrphanage for us to give you assistance.
- Reasons for adoption must contain: 2 sentences or more, and 1 clear reason about the use of the oc. Example of adoption reason that will be skipped: "I always wanted a wolf oc!". Example of adoption reason that will be accepted: "I love their design! I will use them for my story called [name], and they'll be friends to another oc of mine called [name]". You don't need to write a Bible, simply let us know about what you'll use the oc for! Write two sentences with one clear reason for each character that you desire to adopt.
- You can adopt in a week, a maximum of 20 characters.
We follow the grammatical rule that requires periods at the end of sentences, commas don't count. If the reason for the adoption is missing by at least two points, the reasons will not be stated as two sentences.

How can I send/donate an oc?
To send one or more ocs, comment the form below here in the forum post you're reading, then transfer the oc(s) to ExpressOrphanage with a note saying "For Express Orphanage". Please keep in mind: OCS SENT WITHOUT A NOTE ARE GOING TO BE REJECTED TO KEEP THINGS ORGANIZED.

How can I adopt an oc?
To adopt an oc, please make sure you own at least 1 ticket. Then, send the form below in the comments of the forum post you're reading right now.
If, however, you are the creator of a character that you do not wish to find inside an orphanage, you can ask without having to send any character.
Your creation will be sent to you without too many problems.

To start receiving tickets from drawings, you need to do at least 2-3 of them without earning tickets.
Headshots: 0 (sketch) - 0 (finished)
(Headshots will not give tickets)
Busts: 0 - 1
(Busts: Only a single to ticket if you colour and shade with proper lineart)
No backgrounds
Half body: 1 - 2
(Half Body: Sketchy/messy art is one ticket however it cannot be a 5 minute drawing, effort must be shown.
2 tickets for fully shaded and proper)

(Full body: two tickets for messy coloured sketch, 5 for full shading and proper)

The official artists will be chosen by us moderators, and will be those who have collaborated with us the longest.

Reason and use:
Blue: Blue quickly stood out to me! I think imma redesign them I think? Long Story short they are famous, but only in reality tv shows. I could see memes going around about them raging at something. Blue's appeared in PRETTY MUCH EVERY type of show, from Big Brother styled ones to one of those restaurant saving shows (fun fact he wasn't even invited to that one, he just so happened to be dining at the restaurant the episode was focusing on). They currently are the head of a house renovation show called Blue Judges Your House Interior. Outside of tv, they are just.. uh.. not a good person. Many people desire them as they're pretty much a rare specimen of their species, but they don't care about all of that jazz since.. uh.. they're asexual. However they do donate their dna to cloning labs for specialty designer babies, which is a trend of people with his mutations.
Green: Green is the estranged brother of Blue. He got used to life away from the spotlight. While he isn't as rich as his sibling, he is much more successful in his field of work, which is being a plumber. If anyone recognizes him as looking similar to Blue, he will often freak out internally. It's not like he loves his sibling, it's just that Blue's extremely selfish and is embarrassed by their blue collar family for not looking 'royal' enough.
Grookey: OKAY SO this one's short. This character was designed by a friend and has been shuffled between shelters. I want to at the very least give it a temporary home and draw a couple images for him! Plus he's very cute and fluffy!
Qilln: IDK HOW TO SPELL IT?? So I've noticed this one being around for a while. Basically she is a very paranoid person who is TERRIFIED of people finding her and using her parts for traditional medicine. However, she hasn't noticed that she teleported into a completely different dimension from the one she is in, and people don't want to hurt her. Yeah.. she has trust issues, poor girl :(
Clementine: SO I think she could fit into a ARPG that I'm a admin of. Once they open transfers, I think she could be a fitting member. Sorry, not much here at the moment. Maybe I could change the feathers to look more glass-pane like?
Cherry Rose: I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep her forever, but I do feel bad for this pony. She doesn't even have a ref. I think I'll keep her for a couple months while giving her a redesign. Or perhaps she'll join my hoard of ponies? Who knows.
Zelcro: I'm not gonna keep them as is since.. well.. the spilt personality thing doesn't look well-researched. My idea for a redesign is that they're gonna defiently be more monstrous. I'm gonna turn the face into a mask, and the body into some kind of a costume. Sort of like mimikyu, if you look what's underneath you'll likely go mad. Unless you're a god or a eldritch abomination of course.
Fizzy Shimmer: I need more friends for my oc Dream Swirl! Plus her design is appealing and overall pretty! I could see her moving from Cloudsdale to Ponyville, and her whole arc being getting used to being around other ponies. It's not like she's shy, it's just that her parents are rather.. traditional. While snobby Canterlot Unicorns are nobility, snobby pegasi are more militaristic, and see ponies other than Pegasi as 'weak' or 'dumb' (which is ironic because Pegasi are the weakest out of the three main pony races). Fizzy wants to become friends with the various creatures of Ponyville, but her parents rudely assume that anypony who isn't a pegasus or strong is awful. They don't even want to be in a hick town, there just trying to get other 'good' pegasi to leave with them. It isn't until Rainbow Dash humiliates her parents (which involves Scootaloo outspeeding them on her scooter) does Fizzy get the strength to speak out against them and become friends with the ponies she wants too! Her parents FINALLY see the light and apologize to everyone.
Starry Meowchi: Okay so it's a cute widdle toy robot! I could see them being a limited edition robot, exclusively for a certain event. Maybe Comicon? or perhaps they're exclusive sold during important astromical events? Either way they have a HUGE ego, and won't shut up about how they're 'exlusive' and 'awesome'. She really needs a reality check, not gonna lie.
Blitz Cloudstorm: Another one of my friend's older ocs. Just gonna see if they want them back or not! Simple as that. Maybe I'll draw something to add to her value, who knows. If my friend dosn't want them back, I'll just donate them here again.
Reese: OKAY SOOO I'm thinking that I could just add antennae and darken the skin slightly, and viola! A Notail! She'd be a escapee from the Notail government who's.. just trying to live honestly. The whole 'having to pay for basic necessities' thing sucks, plus other species hating notails isn't fun either. Still though she feels as if this is the only choice for her. She actually was first named G-121213, but she later became a O-12. Now she's on the run since she's paranoid about the other O-classes killing her.
