I think a note should be made about MYO designs and how 'designer' should still be set to the creator of the species and not the creator of the design!! it gets a little confusing.. but I think it's more kind to write 'this is a MYO' and link back to the species creator than having it the other way around..

Features I'm thinking about and welcome suggestions for:
- Anonymous comments (if I do throw this in you're still certainly going to have to be logged in so the recipient can report malicious content if necessary)

i'm actually still mulling over how to deal with stuff like this, like my choices are basically:
- allow people to assign multiple designers to their character and any one of the designers can edit the character trading rules
- add a feature where artists can create their own closed/open species, people can submit characters to be part of that species, and all species trading rules pass down to the character -- my main issue with this is i'm not sure how to design the feature in a way that doesn't make uploading closed species characters a huge pain in the ass (ideally i want uploading characters to be a quick one-page process)
lulu yeah i can udnerstand that.. with multiple designers though? like the character trading rules are still created by the creator of the actual species, yknow? like some MYO events have specific set rules which the creator can set when they put in their written ToS, just **to MYO designs** blah blah.. bc the actual person who designed/drew it was still following the rules of the creator?..
I think MYO's make things very complicated LMFAO especially also with open species bc like.. you still follow th ecreators rules but you made it and didn't pay for it at all? so it gets.. very confusing..
I think my only suggestion I have at this time is that on my profile page?
I would desperately love for there to be a display section on there with like "Favorite Characters"! That way if people are looking to randomly make me gift art or commission a gift for me, they know which characters I'm currently super into! Maybe it could be like a check box on the character settings "Your Favorites" or something? Sorry if you already had something like this in mind!
CloverCoin currently there is a way to show 'featured/favourite' characters on your page! it randomizes and shows a different one with each refresh, but to do so you "favourite" your own character, like you're adding one to your favs, and it comes up on your page as a featured character!!
I actually have another question. When it comes up character images for their gallery there is a NSFW option.
Exactly what applies to your NSFW policy? I have some pretty smutty stuff of a few characters, but does nsfw mean only nudity or would it allow smutty works depicting the characters too? I just wanna know if I'm crossing any lines or not before I get in trouble.
CloverCoin I think the best approach is just tag anything you think might be offensive. We'll def. let you know if something needs to be tagged, but I feel like this kind of thing is better safe than sorry.
lulu a suggestion I got regarding the MYO/closed/open species type deal.. is maybe have three categories on the side? Owner, Designer, Creator? It feels a bit cluttered but I think it kinda explains itself.. or an option to ADD a designer/creator split instead of just Owner/Designer. So you have, a MYO or an open species-- Owner, you, Designer, you (or a friend) and creator the owner of the species so it still links back to their ToS.
CloverCoin Sorry things're kinda disorganised at the moment and we haven't started thinking about the specifics for rules and stuff yet -- to elaborate on minsu's answer, I'd say anything with visible genitalia or implied/explicit sexual content warrants a NSFW label. We'll be thinking about it more once we get the chance and maybe adding different levels of NSFW to make things clearer...

Just to add to that designer/creator stuff, I do have a few designs that were collab designs as well so maybe an option to add a co-designer(s) as well? I would really like to properly credit the few designs that have multiple designers/MYOs that I have too /o/
lulu yeah I just wanted to be sure if it was even allowed to upload artwork of my smutty-er characters mostly? I know there was a flat NSFW filter which is really helpful! But I wanted to know if it applied only to flat nudes, where I have refs that have nipples showing on a nude base which I figure applies to NSFW. Then I have other very nsfw-works that would be very sexual, maybe even gorey on occasion? Those would be NSFW but I wasn't sure if there were special things I should be tagging or censoring? (Example like how some movies are Mature, then you have the 18+ or N-17 labels?)
I adore how the site is coming along, I do hope I get to also slap up my smutty characters too because having everyone in one place rocks my world for organization! I really love how it's all coming along, thanks for working so hard!
