I was gonna make a thread about this same topic but then I saw yours, lol.
It would be neat to be able to make field templates (For example, one for OCs, one for fancharacters, etc) and apply them to characters whenever we need them.
So I'm just now actively getting into using this site and something I think that would be very helpful is having a way to mass add fields to many characters at once. It is very tedious, having to go through and add the same fields over and over again, one by one (which is why I have yet to do it). I'd suggest either (or both!) a way to set "default" fields for every character on your account or folder by folder. Maybe even a way to select characters (maybe in the character manager thingy) and add fields that way
I need this so badly. It is a pain to create fields every time I add a new character. A default set of fields would be great.
+1 for sure! I use fields sometimes when I’m not sure what I want in a character quite yet! Being able to make a template so I don’t forget anything would be really nifty!

Default fields would be super useful for making quick profile info like age, species, birthday, gender etc. Especially if you're in a rush or don't have an actual profile made yet.
