I hope they make this a thing. I have so many characters and now its time to go through hundreds if not more
When can I expect a feature that allows me to delete multiple characters at once from the Character Manager? As someone with over 50 characters documented on Toyhou.se that are EXTREMELY outdated, I find it tedious to remove one character one-by-one visiting their pages individually.
I agree with the person above! You can open their profiles in multiple tabs, scroll down and click on the delete option. Immediately switch to the next tab and just let the previous loading untill it done. That's my way when I wanna save time
^ I think it would be best to give the prompt window "Are you sure you want to delete (insert the numbers of characters selected)?" and you have to checklist the box to confirm to delete them or something like that to prevent accidental mass deletion
Being a mobile using primarily it is very tedious to manually delete a buncha characters so I'd love this option. Kinda like the character manager but like. To delete.
+1!!! ik the admins are basically MIA at this point but I'd really love this feature!! Albeit, only if it includes what @Arkhangelia and @Everoesea suggested as features! ***Especially*** the recently deleted page, it'd be like the history page for character profiles sorta!! Password-protection should also definitely be a thing for deletion in general as well, it's far too easy to delete characters--
Plus, I mainly use PC but as a former mobile user, toyhouse *sucks* on mobile, especially character creation ;w;
only support if theres a bunch of protections to prevent this from accidentally happening such as the ones mentioned before like password entry or extra confirmation windows or the recently deleted page
I like the recently deleted page idea, i think would be good for the character to stay there longer just in case of future regrets, maybe you can choose to delete a characrer from that page to make it disappear from the recently deleted page
for the confirmation windows should have two of them and hte second one has the yes and no butttons switched to prevent accidental double clicking and to make sure the person is paying attention
+1 but with SEVERAL CONFIRMATION CHECKS e.g.
- display every character you're trying to delete just so you can double check
- are you sure?
- are you REALLY sure?
