This is what the "designer" section is meant for. e: Like, the fact that it isn't being used like this is another issue entirely, and quite frankly i'f like to not have other people's designs in my "designs" section, but this is in fact specifically what the designer section is meant to address.
I think it would be a good implementor option to be able to change the Creator option when creating a character, to switch between that or “Species Creator”.
When you credit a species creator under solely creator, it completely discredits the person who designed or made the character at hand. It’s incredibility discrediting to the person who perhaps used an MYO to put all the work into their character. So I think it’d be very useful to create either a switch between option, or like the multiple designers idea, add in an optional “Species Creator” title to give proper credit! That way, it’s well rounded for everyone! :)
Perhaps, but that doesn't work title wise either, we should have a more specific role than "designer" when perhaps the original creator didn't make the "design" specifically. It doesn't fit with "co-designer" like the way it's set up.
So for organization purposes, it feels like the better option to keep things distinct.
