i voted -1 because i feel like this is kind of unnecessary. people delete characters for all kinds of reasons and no ones really obligated to keep any oc, but someone deleting and crediting themselves as the creator is a separate issue that you can report if they wont change the credits to be correct. ive had people delete designs ive made because they were traded or resold off-site so something like this could lead to a lot of miscommunication and could feel invasive for some people and possibly lead to harassment

i've had an issue with one user deleting designs i've gifted to them and reuploading them and crediting themself as the creator. i'd like there to be some way to view deleted designs that you've previously owned because, let's face it — kinda annoying when you can't see who deleted your design or why.
COUNTER SUGGESTION TO THIS:
-Notify the og creator if a character will be deleted and ASK FOR SAID DESIGNERS CONSENT if the oc owner is trying to delete them. The og creator can deny requests for characters to be deleted, and from there the owner and creator would simply have to talk things out, hence open communication about people’s hard work being deleted
-IF AN ACCOUNT IS DEACTIVATED, AN OC FROM A DEAD ACCOUNT SHOULD NOT BE DELETED. rather, I believe these ocs should be kept in a grey area, where they can only be viewed by their original creators if the original creator still has an account, and would still show up in the original creators designed characters, but inaccessible to anyone else.
