The title was really unclear, but let me explain—

It would be very nice to have a subcategory of charectors under ‘Dollmakers’ or  along those lines. Basically, where we have human/anthro/etc, we would also have ‘dollmakers’. This setting could also be banned for selling for real life and virtual currency (possibly dull out those options if ‘dollmakers’ is selected by the lister).

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting tired of seeing that going around. Due to the rising popularity of these things, I feel like it could be beneficial.

On top of that (I don’t know if this already exists), but a way to block certain listings from popping up? Like, you don’t want to see any feral trade listings so you can click ‘X’ for feral, or along those lines.

Opinions?

I would greatly like both of these! I honestly had thought that the latter filters already existed, that they don't is unfortunate.

I just wish people would label them clearly when they use a dollmaker. I 100% don't think anyone's actually working on anything on this site, so features probably will never get added.

You can report dollmaker things that don't credit the dollmaker anywhere.

as a dollmaker person, i 100% agree with this. i would love a dollmaker section so people can find actual ocs easier and that mine + other dollmaker ocs dont fill these pages.

the only thing i disagree with is banning doll made ocs from being sold - it would suck if i spent hundreds on commissions but was forced to either trade it or give it away for free just because the original design was made with a dollmaker. if there was no extra artwork added (which is kind of hard to verify unless a section was added to the dollmaker button) then obviously they shouldn't be sold, but i think thats against the rules anyways.

i also agree 100% that people should have the right to block dollmaker ocs when looking in the listing tags. seems unfair that people who dont want them are required to dig through pages of them.

i'm curious on how this would affect older ocs? i'm assuming some listings were made and people forgotten about them, so i would guess there'd still be a lot of dollmaker ocs that are older that wouldnt be updated even if this change was added. i guess users could report them though, right? to tell admin they need the new tag

I don’t have anything against dollmakers, but I just prefer to view normal OCs when I’m looking for things to offer on
