Cosmind people do that anyway, and both people would have to supply proof of them drawing the character at a previous time anyway. I’ve had this happen to were I bought a character years ago but only got a Toyhouse 2 years ago and it was stollen 3 years ago, so there’s still no real way for a Toyhouse date to be a good form of date creation
I have a lot of characters I owned before I had a Toyhouse account. I would love to be able to have a nice way to show that as it’s weird for me to see a character I’ve owned since 2017 have a 2018 upload date. I suggest having a second “Created” label, and changing the initial “Created” being changed to “Uploaded” so that you still have the information needed for trading (and can tell if a character is stollen). Here’s an example of said idea:
I really like this idea because my sona is over 11 years old now, not the 3 that the upload date says.
+1 for purely personal reasons; I don't really do trading anymore so it's not like. important for that, but I don't always upload characters when I make them & etc. etc.
+1 for similar reason as teddiebearie and manitka and also if its optional because some characters creattion can be the same as the upload and also because i have lost some characters date creation

Verification seems extremely tedious and subjective, considering how vastly some characters can change over time while still being the same character. Also the amount of work and people and differing opinions that would go into building such a system, let alone maintaining it without issues is near impossible. Toyhouse functions as a simple character repository for many people, having someone else's completely subjective decision decide whether or not you created a character at some exact point in time seems based off arbitrary "evidence" that could easily be faked, seems like it would lead to a lot of hassle for no reason.
As long as it's made clear that inputting a custom 'creation' date is completely unofficial and is purely for one's personal record-keeping/enjoyment/whatever, I think this is fantastic, I'd love to have a small, aesthetic thing like this to keep track of when a character was first conceived. Sure it's not absolutely necessary, neither are most suggestions, but small, quality-of-life additions like this would be great!
