+1 | I have a lot of characters in my sales folder that I'd prefer art offers on over trades so this would be really nice to separate them since them being bundled has caused confusion! That and I'd love to be able to browse for characters that are up for trade with art as well so this would be super handy.

| Some of us specifically look for characters open for art offers. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to say you're looking for art. A lot of times I ask about a character "Up for Trade" but get told they only want other characters for it, which is completely fine, but I'd rather start asking only when I'm sure they're open to my offer in the first place! We have the option to use the forums, but anyone who's been on forums long enough knows that not as many people use the forums as they do Trade Listings, and as time goes on you get less replies to your thread/see less new threads to check out. Trade Listings, however, are more active, likely because they're more accessible and require no social interaction to set up; They're even easier to search through, as subforums such as Adoption Center include everything from monetary and digital currencies, to character and art trades and cannot be filtered easily like character search can. With all of that in mind, I think it would be extremely helpful for character owners, and character buyers alike, to be able to specify wether you're trading for other designs/characters, or for art. |
Completely agree! I struggle a lot searching through pages upon pages of listings in forums to try and find people doing art/character swaps- It would also help if the “Up For Trade” and “Up For Art” were two different things, possibly?
I definitely agree. I think it would also be nice if there was a totally different forum for trades only. I often go into the adoption center looking for trades but can't find them because of all the resale/selling posts. I even make my own posts in the forum asking for trades but never really get any offers.
+1 Agreed!!! It also makes it easier for people looking for new ocs that can only offer art to find characters they can offer on alongside giving people who arent looking for art at all a break to downsize the amount of people offering art for those ocs!!
