I have to agree with Kadrina. Mods shouldn't be chosen just by activity. Just because somebody is active or popular, doesn't mean that they're going to be responsible in a position of power. I've seen people who seriously shouldn't represent anyone as mods cussing at rule-breakers in public, treating users with disrespect, creating their own idea of how to follow the rules, and being generally rude and unprofessional.

Mods should be chosen out of some sort of verifiable moderation experience in forums and demonstrate that they can remain professional and act within sound judgement under stress. This is a really big site. There are going to be a LOT of problems. Moderation is a job first and foremost. People should be hired based on their ability to handle said job, not, as Kadrina said, in a popularity contest.

While pulling mods from outside sources I don't think is sensible (since they wouldn't be familiar with the site and general community culture), it would be of course to have an extensive vetting process in place, i.e. examining the user's general post history, tickets filed, site use, etc. Applications with experience and other qualifications would need to be reviewed by the admins before anyone is chosen for the position (but I do think it would be safest to have an open application process, maybe anonymous nominations or something?).

I semi-like the idea of anonymous mod accounts, but at the same time I think having named mods creates more accountability among the mods themselves (theoretically encouraging better behavior if you can't hide behind a secondary name).

Regardless I do think a small team of community mods might be a smart idea, if not to be given any actual power (beyond say moving threads or issuing warnings) then at least in having a slightly increased priority in elevating issues for the admin staff to address (something like a liaison).

i'm certain this has been suggested elsewhere but can we please have a complete total image count on the charaters?

like it counts every image from all tabs instead of just what's in the main OC profile (eg, say if u only have 5 images uploaded to the main profile but 10 in tabs, total image count shows as 15 instead of 5 like it currently does now)

i just feel only counting images from the main profile if there's images in tabs is inaccurate :0

I'd love an update to the latest Font Awesome icon set whenever it's possible. c:

An ability to request credit for a piece of art with a button the same way we can for character design credits would be awesome ♥

Requesting Pages!!! I want to be able to make commission, art trade, RP rules, request pages on the broader scope but then for the Worlds feature it'd be so useful! I want to make folders of planets, species, plants, animals then pages within those with each individual type where I can simply add all the info I want per page. A new pages section would be fab, with the option to select which pages show in that section while other pages can be set to visible when directly linked or the usual private settings.

I think a work around is simply using Characters, but it's cumbersome at best. I don't want all these non-character objects cluttering up my character selection and popping up in my Recent Characters list or in the design section, as they're neither.
