These are probably not new ideas but I would like to give them some shine either way as Ive gotten used to this site and start to see things that could be improved as I’m starting to get a lot of characters, art and information.
1. Previous owner credit
- So I think atleast some of us have rebought or got gifted an old character and would like to atleast have their name somewhere. I suggest we could have a previous owner credit that could be placed in the same box with "Creator, Designer, .."
2. Sorting of characters
- I know we have option clicks such as «New to old» and such, but what if we could customize the regular look whenever we go to our characters?
- Example: My character Jake is on page nr. 3 but I would like to place him on page 1 on first row.
3. Sorting of folders
This something that has troubled me for a while. I know we can make symbols or numbers behind the folder name, but is that really necessary? Could there be a way to customize this too so we could decide which folder came last and first?
4. Art folders in a characters Gallery
- Just a thought; if you like having art you have gotten/bought by in one certain folder and art you have made in another folder.
5. Co-Owner of character
Okay this one would definitely be a thing I would love! Some people co-own characters and I think it would be a cool option to add here? This way the character will be:
- Shown on both users account
- Can be edited by both sides
- Authority goes to the account who originally put the character on toyhouse, s/he can (force?? = without request to accept yes or no) delete co-operation and/or access to editing on the character.
- The Co-owner can decide to stop owning the character (then it will disappear from their site) or work together with the authority user / the other co-owner.
6. Artist(s) Credit
Sometimes a art piece might have been collab, which means more than 1 artist has worked on the art piece. Giving credit to only one person on this website would kind of be unfair ? Thats why I’d like to add + button so we can give credit to more artists ( guest/collab artists ) which didn’t get their rightfully credit here on the website.

1. exists already - click on the ownership tab, then hit "character transfer log"! you can view the previous hands it's passed on toyhouse. i'm not sure how viable a manual transfer log would be, since ppl lie and there's already a lot of incorrect credit hanging around
2. this is pretty commonly suggested! i won't bother digging up the threads but off the top of my head i cant remember if minsu said something about it or not...
3.^^ see above. the manual way is a good workaround, although it sounds like you already know about it! but hopefully we get to sort stuff in an easier fashion soon!
4. minsu said gallery folders won't be happening. dunno if that still remains true, but that's the verdict for now
5. this has been suggested many many many times! i whipped up a directory of the threads a while ago
