「Suggestions & Bugs FAQ」

just a small hub of a lot of the questions i see get posted often.

feel free to ask any basic questions, although probably around 3/4 of the time, if it's not answered here,
i'll probably direct you to making a help ticket because it's probably an issue
or bug mods will have to answer.

please note this is all unofficial and not run by mods!!

Hello! I just want to ask if there's a way to search for off-site artists here. I credit all of the artworks I do for other users with a link to my Insta, so now I can't keep track of them. I know I can search for designs made by off-site designers, but I'm not sure whether or not I can do the same for art.

_featherweather

Chisaki you can use search in the footer of every page to search for designs by an artist but it hinges on people actually tagging the artist in a uniform matter.

Chisaki

_featherweather umm so I'm not looking for the design, but the artwork. I did a lot of commissions of existing designs, and in the credits I put a link to my Insta instead of my TH acc. Now I can't find any of them ^^;;

_featherweather

Chisaki ah apologies, i misread your question. sadly there's no way to try and search for a particular artwork by a particular off site artist :(
i know there were suggestions to allow an artist to request toyhou.se to update any links offsite to their toyhou.se but this was... maybe three or so years ago? i don't think anything came up of it.
i would suggest... just reaching out to people who commissioned you in the past and just ask if they can update the art credits to your new TH :/ it sucks but sadly there's no way currently to autoamte it

Chisaki

_featherweather thank you so much for helping me ^^

Chisaki good luck!

you could submit a ticket, but there's a way to try to fix it yourself!

if they have subgalleries, go to "manage images" and try moving around 1-2 images to subgalleries (and back, afterwards). that can force an update of the image count. if they don't have subgalleries, try making a tab and moving the images back and forth, then deleting the tab afterwards.

if this doesn't work, a helpdesk ticket (bottom of screen) may be your only bet. but admin replies are pretty slow right now!

_featherweather

radiiiance - kolo's right! this might be a cookie issue. you can also try clearing those out first in your browser and logging back in to see if that fixes it (for me, opening both characters tell me 40 images each. not sure if you've already reached out to staff though)

_featherweather

radiiiance good luck~

Hello!

It's been bugging me a while now but I was wondering if there was any way I could delete sub-galleries of characters I've already deleted?

Edit:

OH JESUS I JUST CLICKED INTO IT AND FOUND A DELETE BUTTON

I put the sub-gallery here on IC and I was able to get it ajdskaljdajdlajkjfl

I'd like to suggest an area similar to Art Marketplace, but for searching for commissions. This would be an area where people go to post their LF posts, I think it would make it a lot easier to find people to do comms for you, and it would make it easier to find comms to do. That way the marketplace could be for posting comms, and there could be a place for finding comms if that makes sense.

Sorry if this is a bad/already made suggestion, I just thought it'd make some stuff easier as far as the commission side of things.

_featherweather

rakija that's... actually kinda weird? i was under the impression you had to delete subgalleries/tabs on a character before deleting. glad you were able to get it deleted though!

@katt_doedrs_art i want to say that was suggested before but i don't recall when or whether admin weighed in or not sorry :(
personally, i'm on the fence with this suggestion because on one hand, it would make the marketplace easier to skim through when i'm looking to commission. on the other, woudl anyone actually go there?
fastest way to get some feedback would be to write a HelpDesk ticket (fast being relative). alternatively, you can create a new thread in the Suggestions & Bugs forum and allow people to vote if they like the idea so when you send in a helpdesk ticket you can say "X # of users think this is a good idea, please implement maybe?"

_featherweather

Katt_Does_Art i fail at typing sorry, please see above reply
