Suggestion: Verify deleting an image

Posted 5 years, 2 months ago by Orion_Overdrive

When you're viewing an image from a character's profile and you get to the list of characters in the image, I would like a pop-up when you click the delete button going "Are you sure you want to remove this image from the gallery?" or something like that. I can't count the number of times I tried to move an image from one tab to another and almost deleted it because "delete" and the character selection thingy are stupidly close together...

+1 yes please

+1! If possible, it might also be good to have a warning that removing the last character from an image will delete it for good, because I see people post here confused about that fairly often.

BlueRocketMouse

+1 on what hedgemaze said, I made that mistake and while I did have a backup of the particular image it happened with, it's a little concerning that people's images can just up and be lost to the void from an easy mistake like that.

+1 please give us this;;

Today I accidentally deleted an image because I was trying to update the credits on said image, and the submit button moved out from under my cursor when the page finished loading.

Verifying image deletion really, really needs to be a thing.

About a year late to this suggestion, but this really needs to be a thing please-
I accidentally deleted a ref to a character I just got and happened to have not saved the ref yet. Thankfully the icon was the ref, but it was so pixelated and blurry, but it worked good enough until I could draw him a new ref.  I was just trying to move there image and did not mean to click the delete. I almost cried.
Then again today I accidentally deleted an image I literally just uploaded just because I was trying to click the character's name and missed.

+1, personally never had this issue but this definitely needs to be a thing. It only seems logical to have a confirmation after removing something permanently until you readd it back in manually.
