It's not exactly by name, but premium users can search keywords in characters (which returns essentially the same results, I think). It's a premium-only service right now because those searches are heavy on the servers.
Having the search feature for artists, tags and owners are wonderful!
How about a function for searching for OC's by their names? :O
A feature I think could help with finding OC's if you don't know who they belong to or their artists! x
