So someone made me an author of literature for a species and i would like to go back and edit some chapters and cleans things up a bit but i can't figure out how to do that? Does the original person need to give me more permissions or something? I have no clue how to work the literature feature in general,,,
If you aren't listed as the Editor (i.e. you're only the Author), you need to ask the user who uploaded the literature to either change your status as Editor or ask them to make the edit to the chapter(s) themselves. Quoting what the site says:
EDIT: never mind, I found the edit/delete buttons. I really don’t know my way around this site and the buttons were hidden away in the menu drop down. I’m having this same issue but the biggest problem is... I’m the one who published the literature I want to edit (well, delete). I wrote something for a new character but I want to move it into their bio instead and there’s no edit or delete buttons anywhere on the literature page. I can’t do anything with it even though I’m the one that wrote and published it. It’s like I’m locked out of my own work while simultaneously stuck with it and I don’t know why.
