Hi, so I'm looking for help with this situation. I had a falling out with a friend that I used to rp with. And lets just say that... they've caused me a whole lot of problems since this happened.
They stalked my profile to find out if I was selling designs to characters that used to be linked to theirs. but like.. I still have and use these characters. I was just making them into primarily their human forms and not their Feral forms any more because I no longer really had any desire to actually use the feral designs anymore. So I sold the Feral designs. and she turned around and I guess asked someone else to buy them all from me. and then transfer them to her, which is really sketchy as heck. and makes me really upset because I feel like my characters have been stolen from me. since literally she just re linked them all to hers.
I mean I had a suspicion that she ended up getting the designs since they disappeared off of my designs list. I know I probably can't get all of the designs that she has of mine up on her toyhouse back . or if toyhouse will help me get them taken down since im the original creator. This whole instance made me realize i needed a TOS in place on my designs. but I never made one before they were sold. and like... since she was blocked in the first place she shouldn't have been able to get my characters anyways but the work around made this possible.
idk i sent in a ticket but I haven't heard anything back and I'm getting increased Anxiety about this whole thing the longer no one gets back to me on this. So I came here to get some advice on the situation to see if theres anything further that I can do. and see if its even possible for me to even request that she cease use of the designs that I made since she obtained them in this way. :(
Idk if theres anything I can do. or if I should just wait for staff to respond to me... or like even how long it'll take FOR staff to respond to me. Idk man >: any advice on this would be awesome
Thanks for the Idea, usually I'm not really into doing PSA's but like. I think it might be a good idea to do so. since I dunno if I'm the only other person that this has happened to with this specific person. And I highly doubt Id be the last person that this happens too.
also thanks for the feedback <3 this whole thing is just really unsettling to me. apparently you just can't quietly exit people's lives anymore.
hey hun! this situation is absolutely terrible, ive had something similar with people irl happen in terms of my ocs, but heres a few things that can be helpful:
-make a beware post on the user who took your designs. people dont want to do business with people who evade blocks, and social pressure often times gets these people to back out of the bad things that they have done
-waiting. it sucks. hard. but the mod team is small and very busy. this person, by block evading, broke toyhou.se rules and will likely be warned/banned depending on how they react to the situation.
im so sorry this happened to you. shit thing for somebody to do :/ hopefully the mod team replies soon
