- "Read the ⭐stickies." This one is a decent entry onto the site. Looking to invite a friend? there's a sticky for invite codes. Don't know what a word means? Check out the lingo guide. Don't know how to code profiles? There's a stickied help thread, there's a stickied how-to, there's a stickied set of coding snippets. Need to find an artist of an image you drew? Got one of those. Stickies are great!
- The question I see the most is inserting images. You need to grab the url of the image itself (right click -> get URL of image / long press on mobile -> get URL of image), not the page the image is on, Make sure the url ends in .jpg, .png, or .gif when inserting or it's not going to work. Stash and dA are awful image hosts, try imgur, discord, tumblr (change .gifv into .gif and those'll work), or of course toyhouse if it's an image of your character, for hosting instead. If you've got an image on-site with a watermark, and its URL has a questionmark and numbers that follows up the image's type (ie: .png?982739872957), toyhouse knows what to do with that, and unlike most cases, it's a valid url.
- "Splitting galleries" is a tab feature. Just add a new tab (character -> left menu -> manage character -> tabs) and change Tub-type to Sub-Gallery. Then you can go to Sort Images on that same menu and move your images to the new tab! If you want them to be in multiple tabs, you can do that by Editing the Image and adding a character, just select the new tab. Or use Manage Images and sort manually!
- "Split Folders" is, similarly, also a folder feature. Select a folder that's a parent to other folder in Manage Folders, then change that parent folder's Folder Style to "Flattened", and the children folders directly within it will show up on one page. If those children folders have more folders, they won't show up, however.
- When adding a watermark, you're never going to see it when browsing your galleries casually. You'll have to check View Watermark on each individual image to see how they look with it. Be sure to change your privacy settings to show watermarks to Public Viewers.
- If you've just bought Premium and your page is looking oddly funky and none of your coding is working, on this page, change Layout from Legacy to Regular. Fixes every time.
- You can ping users with @username and you can directly link a character with @@ followed by their ID number ie @@/440245 (no slash) -> * Perpsona

Just here to remind everyone to at least get into the habit of backing up everything. Not really a tip for here exactly but for anyone who makes characters in general.
Like -Alex- and wormjunkie said PLEASE back up your images. I actually didn’t know about the bug, but a couple times in the past I’ve accidentally deleted an image when adding characters to it. I wouldn’t have been able to get them back if I didn’t have backups saved on my phone
